Where has complexity crept in?
Midweek calibration: Growth is exciting, right?! We would all agree.... until the business starts feeling harder to run. Operationally harder with more decisions, more moving parts, more things competing for attention, and more pressure to do the "right things" and do them "right". Quick question: Where has complexity quietly crept into your business? Is it: -too many products/offers? -unclear revenue priorities? – too many projects running at once? – something else? Drop the one area that feels most fragmented right now. Let’s simplify it.

Where has complexity crept in?
When staying put starts costing more than moving forward
Most capable entrepreneurs are hesitating, not STUCK. Not because they don’t know what to do. But because the business currently depends on them more than it should. So they pause: - on hiring - on investing - on making the move they know they need - on mentorship They pause because the next level feels heavier than the last one because it's unknown. Here’s the reframe I want you to sit with: As an entrepreneur, the problem isn't ambition, it's the cost of how you’re achieving it. If staying “as is” has started to feel expensive, in energy, time, or life, that’s not something to push through. That’s something to redesign. And if you're feeling it, maybe it's your time to make moves. Anyone relate to this?

@Patty Hansen I relate to this!!
Something I’ve been reflecting on after last week’s in person event:
Most entrepreneurs don’t struggle because they lack discipline and they definitely don't lack ideas! They struggle because they’re trying to make decisions without clarity. Once clarity hits, everything accelerates... decisions, systems, even revenue. Then it feels lighter, not heavier. I’m curious: Where do you feel the most friction right now in your business? • Making decisions • Knowing what to prioritize • Translating effort into results Or maybe just shutting down the noise? Drop it below — I want to see the patterns.

FOR LOCAL
I haven’t promoted inside this space but wanted to share- But since there are several of you here who are local, I wanted to share this in context. On Thursday morning I’m hosting a small, in-person event for entrepreneurs. This isn’t a motivational workshop. And it’s not about adding more tactics. It’s about stepping outside the bottle long enough to see:• what’s misaligned• what’s overbuilt• and where effort is leaking instead of compounding. Or maybe it will show you where it's going well and you're on the right track. I’m attaching the flyer below so you have the details.

What questions do you have for a bookkeeper?
Looking foward to giving a 10 minute power point in a few weeks. What questions would you have for a bookkeeper?

Patty! This is such a great question to put out here. I know people have some questions.

This is such a good question, and I’ll add this for anyone reading: Most owners don’t know what to ask a bookkeeper until something feels off. Common things I hear in conversations:• “Why does my revenue look fine but cash still feels tight?”• “What numbers should I actually be watching weekly vs monthly?”• “At what point does DIY stop making sense?” If any of those sound familiar, you’re not behind — you’re normal.
