FOR LOCAL
I haven’t promoted inside this space but wanted to share- But since there are several of you here who are local, I wanted to share this in context. On Thursday morning I’m hosting a small, in-person event for entrepreneurs. This isn’t a motivational workshop. And it’s not about adding more tactics. It’s about stepping outside the bottle long enough to see:• what’s misaligned• what’s overbuilt• and where effort is leaking instead of compounding. Or maybe it will show you where it's going well and you're on the right track. I’m attaching the flyer below so you have the details.

@Patty Hansen for sure! I wasn’t going to share here at all 😂
What questions do you have for a bookkeeper?
Looking foward to giving a 10 minute power point in a few weeks. What questions would you have for a bookkeeper?

Patty! This is such a great question to put out here. I know people have some questions.

This is such a good question, and I’ll add this for anyone reading: Most owners don’t know what to ask a bookkeeper until something feels off. Common things I hear in conversations:• “Why does my revenue look fine but cash still feels tight?”• “What numbers should I actually be watching weekly vs monthly?”• “At what point does DIY stop making sense?” If any of those sound familiar, you’re not behind — you’re normal.
A quick note
I want to take a minute to share about this space — especially as more people find their way here. This is not a place to perform, or to “have the right answer.” And it’s definitely not a place to wait until things feel perfect before you speak. This space exists so you can:• notice patterns• ask better questions• articulate what feels off (even if you can’t name it yet) Most entrepreneurs stay quiet because they think they need clarity before they speak. In reality, clarity comes after you say the thing out loud. So here’s how to engage here:• short thoughts are welcome• half-formed questions are welcome• reflections > explanations If something resonates, a simple “this landed” is enough. No pressure. No noise.Just proximity, perspective, and better thinking. Entrepreneurship can be tricky to navigate and it can feel lonely. My goal is to give you a place to throw things out there, feel supported and to see that this journey can truly be fun.
👇 Curious: What part of your business works… but feels heavier than it should?
One of the most exhausting places to be as a business owner is this: Your business works, but ONLY if you’re constantly involved. Clients are coming in. Revenue exists. Things technically function. But everything feels heavier and harder than it should. What I see most often isn’t a lack of effort or motivation. It's a business that has outgrown the original structure. You ARE the system. You ARE the hands, the feet, and the brains of your business and can't seem to pull back long enough to see how to adjust. It’s not failure. It’s an unfinished structure. The moment clarity enters the picture, things get lighter fast, not because you do more, but because the business finally supports you.
If some weeks you want to scale and others you want to quit...
Most entrepreneurs think inconsistency is a discipline problem. It’s not. It’s what happens when your business is still built for the version of you that started it — while you’re operating as someone who’s outgrown it. That’s when you start swinging between: - “I’m so good at what I do.” - “I don’t want to be doing this like this forever.” Some weeks you have energy and vision.Other weeks everything feels loud, heavy, and fragmented. That isn’t burnout. That’s identity lag. And OHHHHHHH how I have been there. It's absolutely exhausting. Your ambition hasn’t disappeared — it’s arguing with a business model that has an expiration date. This community isn’t about doing more, pushing harder, or forcing clarity. It’s about redesigning the way the business runs so it can actually hold the life and goals you’re asking for. If you’re here, you’re not behind. You’re early in the rebuild.
