There are some bad comments going around. I’m not sure if it’s just me but I can’t see the posts that these bad comments are on, it’s like the whole posts are gone. The images below are of the message. This message was posted already but I can’t find it so I’m posting this again

@David Vogel You sir are a braver man than I. While I love the technology and would love to go below in one, I’ve got issue being under that much physics wanting to delete you(dealing with an enemy is enough). When I worked for Schlumberger, we used to do hydrostatic testing of all the drilling tools and what not. the pressures would be in the 5 to 6000 psi range. Hearing solid steel “tink” under the pressure, even while behind a blast wall would put my hair on end. You fellas are a different class of brave. And I tip my hat to you. Thank you for your service Sir.

Learning a New Language as I Work with Claude-Code
I've been learning a new language without actually setting aside time to study. I've been doing it while I work. I set up a system where both Claude in VS Code and Grok Build in terminal automatically swap out certain English words in Claude's responses. They replace the word with the version in my target language, add the pronunciation and the original English word in parentheses right after it. So instead of just seeing the word "create", I'll see something like "tehdä (TEH-dah, create)". The key part is that I trained the whole system with proper linguistics and language learning material. So it's not just swapping words, it's actually teaching me the right way to say things and how to use them properly. The coolest part about this whole thing is realizing AI doesn't have to replace our abilities. It can actually help us build new skills we never thought we could develop while working. I'm not offloading my thinking. I'm actually getting better at something while I code. It's working way better than any language app I've tried. The language is slowly becoming part of how I naturally think. The next step for me is to start replacing whole sentences and phrases instead of just single words. Try it out, let me Know if anything needs to be tweaked! https://github.com/Leo-HakoOja/lingua-hook
Interesting take on AI
Stumbled upon this which leads me to ponder why is AI free? What are your thoughts?

@Bill McCaig I think it’s getting past the hype for a lot of people. If you can disassociate yourself from the hype you can start to see where this tool can actually make improvements in your life.

1. The concept: Explains the difference between Oxy/Acetylene welding and cutting. 2. The tools: Remotion 4.0 + three hand-coded inline SVG components (welding diagram, cutting diagram, torch cross-section). No external assets, no image files, no Lottie, no icon libraries. Every shape, torch body, flame cone, O₂ jet, melt pool, slag sparks, cross-section holes, is SVG primitives written by hand. All animation is useCurrentFrame() + interpolate() + Easing. TypeScript throughout. 3. What I'd do differently: I would probably spend a little bit more time making better SVGs, but that would be a tweak in the prompting.
