We just shipped some new gamification features to make things more fun! • Custom level names: Personalize your group by naming your levels. • Unlock courses at levels: Unlock a course or something of value when members hit a high level. • Leaderboard redesign: Now you can see your progress and what you can unlock as you level up. Watch the Loom video below for more info on how it works and how to set it up for yourself. This is an experimental feature we're playing with, so we want to hear your feedback! Try it out for yourself and let us know what you think?

Fun addition- I did this for my Skool group- wondering why it hasn't been implemented on Wetube? :)
We're thinking of doing a sick Black Friday deal. The craziest Black Friday deal we've ever done. Interested? Give me a sick GIF in the comments below if you want a sick deal.

Good morning, The message at the top of the community posts isn't showing the correct time. Our session was in 1 hour and 5 minutes, but it was showing that the class is happening in "2 hours".

Hey Coaches/Consultants, This is my first post in this group so here's a quick introduction, I'm a self-improvement content creator who moved his efforts from TikTok (340k+ following) to YouTube last year after coming to the realization that generally TikTok audiences aren't as engaged and dedicated to their creators as YouTube audiences. That being my experience, I started my YouTube from scratch a year ago with only a whopping 10-30 people from my 340k+ TikTok following converting to my channel (proving the point of TikTok not being the best place to create an audience). Having exhausted the quantity approach to content on TikTok with about 2-3 TikToks a day, I decided I'd venture down the quality route on YouTube and see if that was the superior path. After one year on YouTube and dedicating myself to learning everything about creating quality content, I can assure you it was (at least for me). I now have 48k+ subscribers and created my own blue ocean of content called the "moviementary" where I fused movie + documentary elements to tell entertaining stories that educate. These moviementaries I make now have hundreds of thousands of views each and within the last one called "How to Escape the '9 to 5'" I launched my own Skool community called the "Freedomist Movement" which is an extension of my worldviews and ambitions into a movement my audience can stand behind and a philosophy that my channel is centered around. I made the barrier to entry high being they have to watch a 30 minute presentation and get a password right to join. My rationale behind that was to filter out all low quality people and that it's better to have an active engaged private group of 1000 people that qualify than a public group of 5000 with a wider range of personalities to moderate with varying investment to the movement. Not to mention, the private community feels adds a layer of mystery that makes people want to join and those inside feel cooler about. Although the beginning was shaky, I was able to easily get a team of moderators with one post and now we found a way to effectively filter out all low quality people with 100% accuracy. The community as it stands is very active and many people are networking/sharing information with each other all around the mission of the Freedomist Movement.

Wowww this is SUPER COOL. Thanks for sharing!

wow, these are full on movies...what does it take to create these??
It feels super trespassy to be receiving solicitations from people I don’t know in Skool. In my mind Skool is a safe space but I guess the DMs aren’t. Is there a way to limit who can message us?

I'm in a course by someone hosted on Kajabi and got to a particular module and received an email with an offer. So cool! Could this be possible?

Hey everyone. I have a number of courses that unlock at a certain level. The video's are locked but the descriptions are still visible (see picture). Is there a way to lock descriptions, so they cannot be seen by those who do not have access?

Wow this is intense!
In a course I'm taking perhaps hosted in Kajabi it shows the next video loading with the circle changing color like a timer- it definitely works to get me to watch the next video. Is this in the works for the Skool classroom feature?

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe I don’t understand- we have videos in our classroom- what am I missing here?
We had to delete a couple of events in December and each time we deleted one the calendar page jumped back to this month (November). It was annoying and also confusing as we almost deleted something in November not realizing what had happened. Is this intentional or a glitch?

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe interesting. Thanks.
Hello, hope you’re all having a lovely day! I was wondering if anyone knows the fastest, or the most efficient way to transcribe video? It would be great if it were possible to generate transcription when you upload a video to skool. Not sure if that is a feature or not? Thanks in advance for your help.

Otter way better than rev- cheaper and more accurate.
I'm finding for community, having people receive push notifications straight onto there phone with the little red dot so powerful! If Skool had this I think it would increase my engagement drastically. How is everyone else doing this?

Emailing a post- you mean besides that?
Is anyone using the basic group URL (not the invite link) to grow their PUBLIC group? This takes them directly into the group rather than prompting the registration page immediately. My thinking is that by allowing people to explore and experience the group/classroom they get a "sneak peak" and will be more likely to sign up. (I'm driving traffic from YouTube organic and YouTube Ads). @Jesse Clark @Sid Sahasrabuddhe does this make sense? Any downsides other than revealing your posts/courses/calendar?

@Jason Weinberger couldn’t you set it up that way?
0 likes • Nov '22
@Jason Weinberger I’m saying can’t you set it up w a thank you page?
If this is covered already @Sid Sahasrabuddhe please lmk where/how to restrict calendar access to some members. I know it’s possible w the classroom. Thanks.

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe that’s not user friendly. Would never have figured that out.
Would be great to be able to select bullet points to make a list- unless they're here and I'm missing something?

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe that's hard to stumble upon/remember, sorry- maybe I'm dense!
Upwork has this- would be awesome if you could offer that feature.

Can't recall if I or anyone have mentioned this but being able to hit return to post saves time rather than having to move mouse to post button. If not going to do that, could you switch the post button w the gif and emoji options so it's closer?

@Sam Ovens cool- I wouldn't know that on my own but good to know.
1. If we're commenting on a post can it automatically offer tagging without having to put the @ sign- at least for the person who authored the post? 2. Can you email the admins (admins could select to turn this on or off) if a post has no like or comments? My brand is to respond to everyone but it has me compulsively scrolling. 3. Continuing to put in the plug for automatically clearing the number once you've looked at notifications. Thanks!

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe cool- didn't know about the filter option.
Hi I’m on an iPhone 13 mini and when I hit reply there’s not enough room between the person’s name and the gif so when I go to type the gif thing pops up and I have to undo it. Anyone else?

It’s not a bug or a feature so I chose bug- more just feedback.
Once I see them it’s a waste of time to manually have to mark them as read. Can you make that happen automatically please? @Sid Sahasrabuddhe

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe yes. I’m saying that having to click to get rid of the notification number is annoying. But maybe I’m the only one who feels that way?

@Lendon Bracewell yes I prefer where they all disappear but at least the red number!
Hey I’m watching the wetube videos. I watched the intro, dmed a member, came back and hit Next Module and the playback speed I’d selected (2x) reset to 1x. Can it stay at what I selected - like YT?

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe it happens even if I close safari and come back to the same video. Would really be great to keep it the same!
I don’t see it in profile notifications as an option.

@Ted Carr weird I don’t have that option- what am I doing wrong?

@Ted Carr thx for helping. Not finding it. I’m in Wetube and don’t see anywhere for settings that’s not my profile.
Just heard Sam mentioned his desire to do this in Skool- yes!!
