By far, one of the most important aspects of being a healthy and thriving human being is the food we eat. We are what we eat…right? For most people today, food seems to be an unimportant afterthought. Something that has to be consumed simply because we feel the sense of hunger. Doesn’t matter what it is, as long as it satisfies that feeling. And yet here we are; overweight, sick, mentally ill, physical f#cked. And the mainstream solution – medications, vaccines and surgeries. Personally, I don’t think eating healthy is a difficult thing to do; Meat, Fruit, Veg. Pretty straight forward i think. However, most of us have been brought up with many skewed variations of this. So I want to keep this short, to the point, and lay out what I believe should be a basic foundation of healthy eating. Then I would love to hear opinions and thoughts from you all. This is what I would consider to be a basic HEALTHY way of eating: - Meat, fruit, veg - No sauces, no bread, no pasta (unless you can hand make with organic produce) - No processed foods, nothing you wouldn’t find at a butcher or fruit and veg shop - One to two “meals” a day consisting of meat and veg - Fruit for picking throughout the day That’s it… Keep in mind this is not for any particular goal (performance, weightloss), this is purely what I consider should be a standard way of eating. From this basic framework, things can be adjusted to suit various goals. I think this is pretty straightforward. However, for many people this is quiet complicated. And I get it, if you were brought up being fed shit all the time, this will seem weird. But this is why Human Again exists. To make normal, normal again. Beyond these basics, is where we get into “food is medicine”. Where we use specific herbs or eating techniques like fasting or juicing, to produce desired health results. But as basic as it can be, just eat real food. Have a bloody good day, Be Human.
