I've created a community for experts who want to uncover the stories hidden in their lived experience and use them to create more distinctive content. As AI makes it easier for non-experts to create convincing expert-style content, your real experiences are something they can't replicate. 😁 https://www.skool.com/the-compass-room-4134/about
Fear of Failure
👉 Watch the lesson. Action Steps: ✅ List 3 things you’ve failed at before… that taught you something. ✅ Make a “What’s the worst that could happen?” list—and rate the actual risk. Share one thing you’re afraid to try—then list one tiny action you’ll take anyway.

My fear is that I'm building all these things, following the right advice but that moving out of my lane is something that just isn't possible and I should just stick with selling low ticket stuff... 🫤

@Brian O'Neill A guarded yes! I do keep having to remind myself that taking action is the only way to move forward rather than just more learning!
💡 Step 0: Declare Your Idea (Do This First)
Before you watch anything in the classroom, do this first. Most people who join this community have the same problem: Too many ideas. I know because I started 26 side hustles in 14 years before I finally figured out what works. The goal here is simple: Stop spinning. Pick one direction. Test it for 30 days. Not forever. Just one idea to test next. Your Step 0 Action Comment below with this: I want to help [who] solve [problem]. Examples: • I want to help remote workers fix neck pain • I want to help busy parents plan healthy meals • I want to help real estate agents generate more leads It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to be something you're considering building. When you say something out loud, you force a decision. And decisions create momentum. Most people stay stuck because they keep researching instead of choosing. After you comment 👇 Go to the Classroom → Start Here and continue with: Step 1 🧭 Pick Your Direction That’s where we’ll narrow this down and turn it into something real. Drop your idea below 👇 Let's see what you're thinking. - Brian 🔥

I want to help experts find the stories in their lived experience to add to their content so they can stand out from non-experts using AI. I'm not sure yet on how to narrow down my audience!

@Brian O'Neill Thanks, I'll bear that in mind. Seeing my main offer written like that I can see that I have plenty to be going on with.

💰 His first dollar online was $2,000
Alec had a lead go quiet on him. Booked a call. Never showed. He was ready to write the guy off. He told me first. I said ask him what happened, then decide. So he did. The guy showed up to the second call and cried before it was over. Alec sat in the chat with him for three hours. That night. Signed contract. Two thousand dollars. Half up front. Now the part that matters. That was the first money Alec ever made online. Ever. Not a $7 guide. Not a $27 mini course. Not a low ticket ladder he climbed for two years. His first sale was two thousand dollars. You were told to start cheap and work your way up. That is why you are still at zero. Cheap is not easier. It is just smaller. Here is the honest part. Alec works with me one on one. He pays a lot more than $49 a month. He is also still in Mindset Skool. But the fix was not what he pays me. It was one question. Ask the no show what happened. One message. No funnel. No new traffic. The money was already inside. Mindset Skool is $49 a month. On September 1st it goes to $99. There is a 7 day free trial. You book a call with me the day you get in. Most of you will read this and wait. Then join in October and pay double. Join today. Not September. https://www.skool.com/mindsetskool/about What are you charging right now?

Really inspiring story though, I've been in a craft niche for a couple of decades now so it's really hard to get my head around charging something like $2,000 for a service. 😱

@Brian O'Neill I'm looking to move the mosaic stuff down to a hobby pastime, the Story Mining lab is helping experts find the stories to add to their content so they can differentiate themselves from people using AI to create content. There is a 2nd phase on assessing their interactions with clients to see what that can reveal about their expertise. I've been using that with really illuminating results but I'm holding back on that until I get good with the story mining part.
