Changes in Printing
Have you heard the news about the upcoming changes to the cost of printing? Draf2Digital will now be charging an upfront fee, and Barnes & Noble have added new fees to their publishing options, too. This is all coming after a bunch of authors have jumped ship from IngramSpark. Even though they gained more authors after they got rid of their printing fee last year. Granted, they added new fees on the backend... Let me know your thoughts on printing costs, what platforms you have used, and what platform has the best quality.

@Kayley Loring That’s great honestly having the right expert around can save you a lot of time and costly mistakes. The best results usually happen when the content, publishing and online setup all work together instead of separately. That’s when things start to feel professional and easier to grow long term.

@Rebecca Phillips That’s honestly rough and it’s happening to a lot of authors right now. At some point rising printing costs start eating into the value of the work itself, which is why more authors are focusing on building direct audience channels and stronger online presence instead of relying only on platform royalties. Having more control over how readers find and buy your work really starts to matter long term.
Quick question for authors…
When someone discovers your book… what happens next? Do they: Find all your books easily? Understand your story and message? Stay connected with you? Or do they just… leave? A lot of great writers are losing readers right at that moment not because their work isn’t good, but because there’s no clear place guiding them. I’ve been helping authors quietly fix this by creating simple, clean spaces that turn interest into real readers and long-term support. No pressure, but if you feel like your work deserves better visibility and connection, I’ll happy to take a look and point you in the right direction. I can help you make a more aggressive or more subtle version depending on what you want or style.

@Stephanie Blore The good thing is, you don’t need to be on camera to market your work. You just need a simple setup where your books, message, and content speak for you and guide readers naturally. Focus on building that kind of space once, and it keeps working even when you’re offline. If you want, I can help you set that up in a clean, low-effort way

@Smith Lawrence Yeah, I see it a lot most issues aren’t the book, it’s where the promotion leads. People click… but there’s no clear place that holds their attention or guides them, so the interest just drops off. Fix that part, and promotion starts working the way it should.
Writing Different POVs
Question; do you write all in one persons voice and then go back and start it from another’s view? Or do you flip flop and go back and forth?
