Here is part of one I wrote. It is liberating To put thoughts, desires, feelings to paper. Desire “ Her shoulders glow in dawn embrace, a haven where my breath finds rest. Soft as tides that cease to chase, a calm sea cradling my chest. Night fire lingers on her skin, Sheets still wet from the midnight storm. Yet here, upon this sacred space, I hold her quietly. She is as calm as the morning bay Her hair a mess her shoulders bare I lay my head I reset, I rest, I think I’m ready for what is next She stirs, her gaze meets mine. My chest pounds deep, I take a gulp A new goddess is awaking in front of me now, fierce and true, bathed in the gold of the breaking day. She stirs, she stretches, and removes the sheets so I can see what lies beneath.”
