@Diana Rodriguez Thank you!😊
A lesson I learned
I was inspired to share this story with all of you after @Sage Grayson post of a troll who was adding some nusty comments about her freebie. Back in 2011 at the time I have been dismissed for 6 months from the Radio I was working as a full time journalist, after the 2008 financial crisis, I was desperately looking of how to make money online. I have joined a webinar offered by a well known to this day successful marketer who was teaching us how to leverage Twitter (Now X) to find leads. The webinar was half way through when I posted inside the chat "We know this...already...can we move to the meaty part?" (Yes I was that kind of person). The guy stopped the webinar when he saw my comment and he asked me "Lydia do you believe that you know this stuff? Please go and check your bank account because this is what you know" . This hit me like a ton of bricks...but it's the most valuable lesson I've got and I am so thankful that he put me in my realistic position. To this day every time my ego jumps in and try to convince me that I know better I am checking my bank account compared to anyone who is teaching me at the time...and I am down to earth.... Thank you for taking the time to read this experience...

Thanks for sharing your experience, it is good reminder to remember that because maybe we need to hear something again to catch something different we didn't get the first time!

2 big goals for the next 6 months
1. Join Goodbye 9-5. 2. Go to Korea for a business retreat. In order to do this I’ll need to earn about $12,000 😳 on top of what I already am earning. Can I do it?! 😰

Quick question for you all 💭
I've had an idea rattling around and I want to know if it's actually a "yes" or if it's just a nice thought in my head. The idea: a short, personal voice note recorded just for one person, based on what they're going through right now. Not generic, not scripted. More like... if you could bottle up a friend saying "you're doing okay" and actually mean it. Would be something you could get for yourself, or send as a little gift to someone who's having a rough patch a friend, your sister, a new mum, whoever. Before I build anything properly around it, I genuinely want to know: Is this something you'd buy either for you, or for someone else? Or is it a "nice idea, not for me"? Honest answers welcome, that's genuinely what I'm after here 💛

I like this idea! I think it would be something I would get for myself and for someone else! It would feel good to get encouragement from someone else!
