It’s Teacher Tip Tuesday!!!
✨ Teacher Tip Tuesday ✨ One of the most valuable lessons I ever learned from a mentor was this: Process over product. That simple phrase completely changed the way I look at art projects, sensory play, and planned activities. Children don’t need every craft to look identical. They don’t all need to color inside the lines, glue the pieces in the “right” place, or create something Pinterest-worthy. The real learning happens in the exploring, problem-solving, experimenting, and creating. It’s a reminder I still give myself at least twice a week. Now it’s your turn… What’s one lesson a coworker or mentor taught you that still shapes the way you teach today? 👇 Share it in the comments!

Hi everyone! 👋 My name is Jihane. I currently live in Illinois, USA, and I work as a daycare teacher for young children. I have been working with children for 5 years, and I truly enjoy helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Every day is a new opportunity to learn, and I love seeing children reach new developmental milestones. I’m excited to be part of this community to learn new teaching strategies, classroom management tips, fun activity ideas, and better ways to support children’s growth and development. I also look forward to connecting with other educators and learning from your experiences. Thank you for welcoming me. I’m very happy to be part of this community! 💛

Every ECE teacher has accidentally taken a little piece of the classroom home with them. 😂 We can’t wait to read your stories! 👇

Welcome!
✨ Hi everyone! I’m Lauren, and welcome to The Early Childhood Learning Collective! I’m an early childhood educator, administrator, and professional development coach with over 15 years of experience in licensed childcare. I’ve worked in both private and corporate settings, giving me the opportunity to experience nearly every aspect of our field—from the classroom to leadership. I know firsthand the joys, challenges, and sometimes overwhelming reality of working in early childhood education. No two days are ever the same, yet our goal remains the same: providing children and families with the highest quality care possible, regardless of the obstacles we face. I’m passionate about helping educators become more intentional in everything they do. Whether you’re just entering the field or have years of experience, you’ll find practical strategies for creating structured routines, designing meaningful and developmentally appropriate lesson plans, navigating difficult conversations with families, building positive classroom culture, and creating classrooms that run smoothly because children know what to expect. Outside of the classroom, I’m also a mama to an amazing two-year-old and currently serve as the director of a childcare center in a small city in Illinois. I created this community because our profession is evolving. Children have different needs than they did just a few years ago, educators are navigating new challenges, and families are balancing more than ever before. I believe that as early childhood professionals, we have the privilege—and the responsibility—to shape the next generation through intentional relationships, meaningful experiences, and strong partnerships. My hope is that this becomes a space where we can learn together, share ideas, encourage one another, and grow into the educators our children deserve. I’d love to get to know you! 💛 Introduce yourself below! • Where are you from? • What is your current role? • How long have you been in ECE?
