@Cathy Sue Carpenter yes she’s in! Thank you!
Start Here: How This Community Works
Welcome to The Habit Reset. This space is built around one simple idea: Consistency grows when your habits actually fit your real life. Inside this community, we practice four things: • noticing the patterns that keep looping • naming the nonnegotiables that anchor you • building routines you can actually live with • creating a Plan B for real-life days A few things to know: • This is a practice space — not a performance space • You are never ā€œbehindā€ here • Missing days is normal; resetting is the work • Honest check-ins > polished updates • Small, repeatable actions beat perfect streaks You don’t need to be perfect here. You just need to be willing to notice… and begin again. To get started: šŸ‘‡ Introduce yourself and share: What are you most ready to become more consistent with right now?

@Sara Fredrick not true! Don’t wait for external factors to create your consistency, have a plan now so you can be successful later. Even on the off days šŸ˜‰

@Hazel Ryder idk what the times are for people who voted, but the popular vote so far is evening for me. Which is central time, U.S.
If your habits don’t stick, try this ā¬‡ļø
The Follow-Through Filter Before you commit to any routine, ask: 1ļøāƒ£ Does this fit my real schedule? 2ļøāƒ£ Can I do this on a low-energy day? 3ļøāƒ£ Would I still do this if motivation disappeared? If the answer isn’t yes to all three… …it’s probably not sustainable. This is where most people unknowingly sabotage their consistency. They build routines for their ideal self instead of their real life. Inside Ground + Grow, we use simple structure to build habits that actually stick — not just look good on paper. Tell me in the comments, what are you putting through this filter?? ✨ Save this for your next reset moment.

@Cathy Sue Carpenter They are! But also necessary for building realistic ones. Do you ask yourself any of these questions when building a habit or routine?

@Cathy Sue Carpenter very good! A lot of people have a hard time just simply pushing thru and having that pure motivation on a consistent basis. That’s awesome you can do that.
I don’t just teach it, I lived it (my story)
A few years ago, I thought I was doing everything right to ā€œfixā€ myself. I was in therapy. I was on antidepressants. I was doing what I was supposed to do. But I was a zombie. A shell of who I used to be. I didn’t care about anything… and every therapy session started to feel the same. I knew exactly what to say. Exactly what they wanted to hear. On paper, I was getting better. But inside? I wasn’t. Eventually, I quit everything. Not in a rebellious way — just confident & quietly. And I made one small promise to myself: I would start journaling every morning. That was it. No perfect routine. No life overhaul. Just one doable habit I could keep. Because honestly that’s all I had the capacity for then. At first, the change was slow. But something started to shift. ✨ A promise kept → built a little self-trust ✨ Self-trust → made space for gratitude ✨ Gratitude → created more positivity ✨ Positivity → brought back purpose ✨ Purpose → made me feel alive again It didn’t happen overnight. But that one simple, rooted habit changed everything. This is exactly why I’m so passionate about helping busy, low-energy people build doable habits that actually stick. Because sometimes the breakthrough doesn’t start with motivation… It starts with one small promise you keep. If you’re in a season of rebuilding self-trust, you’re exactly who I created Grounded + Grow (and this community) for. If this story resonated, drop a ā¤ļø — I read every single comment.

@Hazel Ryder it is! I think we already know what’s best for us, but sometimes we don’t know the right steps. At least it becomes a learning experience! And then we know what NOT to do.

I teach reflective journaling and habit practices that prioritize consistency, recovery, and self-trust over pressure or perfection.
