The Energy Ledger is Live!
Let's talk about the cup you are pouring from for a second. Are you making it through each day by the skin of your teeth or do you begin and end each day with a sense of abundance that you were happy to share with others? Sometimes that answer can change rapidly. But if it's the first one then let's work together to change that. Just to get a sense of where everyone is, let's get a show of hands 🙋 and mention in the comments one thing that is adding or taking from your cup right now.

I need a larger cup! Maybe an 80oz Stanley 😆
What gives you energy and what takes it?
Good morning and happy Friday! I hope to see you guys at our Sunday Circle this weekend. As we approach the weekend, take a moment to consider that every activity and interaction we do/have contributes to our energy levels. Each person is affected differently. What gives you energy? What drains you? It is a valid question, especially if you constantly feel tired. If you can identify one thing that makes you feel more energized, perhaps that should be part of your weekend.

Tea Pairing Guide
I hope all you lovely ladies are enjoying your Saturday. If you haven't checked out the Morning Steep Journal in the classroom yet, I thought I might pop in this little gem. It is a guide to pair your tea with your mood. Sometimes we need a little extra energy or maybe we could use a calming element. Whatever your pleasure, I hope you find it today. Prompt for thought: How do you want to move through today? Name one quality you want to bring.

Happy Mother's Day!
We have some great moms in this group and I hope you all feel appreciated and loved today. Our Sunday Circle this morning was an opportunity to connect and in honor of mother's day it seemed appropriate to brag on ourselves a little. So the prompt we shared was "What are you proud of this week that you haven't said out loud yet?". It gave us a chance to acknowledge the efforts we are making and embrace that good feeling. For those who couldn't join us this morning, I hope you are enjoying your Sunday and maybe you'd like to comment with your own proud moment from this week.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mamas!!! I’m proud of myself for committing to my social media journey and putting myself out there! It’s hard to do things that scare you but that’s something I’m working on lately. ❤️
Grounding For Anxiety and Overwhelm
Sometimes we find ourselves in a moment where our anxiety takes over. This can be disorienting and scary, especially if it happens suddenly without warning. It can feel like breathing becomes more difficult, the walls are closing in, or you just need to escape from the situation. I've used the "I'm going to get some air" tactic many times. What sets us off depends on individual triggers. You might get uncomfortable in crowded places. Someone you know might be dealing with internal struggles that feel like a weight on their chest. Others can seem perfectly fine one moment and then grasping for something to hold onto the next. Whatever the cause, we can all benefit from being able to ground ourselves when needed. One of the techniques I use is called 5-4-3-2-1. It's very simple and you can do it anytime, anywhere. - Name 5 things you see. - Name 4 things you can touch. - Name 3 things you hear. - Name 2 things you can smell. - Name 1 thing you can taste. This simple exercise disrupts your thoughts and redirects you back to the present moment letting your body and your mind know that you are okay. Has anyone tried this before? If this is helpful to you, comment below.

Thank you for helping me the other night with this. Plans changing, large crowds, small rooms, and a lot of stimuli make me stress 😅 doing that technique really helps ground you and focus on the present!
