Summer shoots are here!
Warmer weather means most people are outside with their cameras a lot more! What have you been shooting recently? Would love to see what has been inspiring you all?!
Engagement Shoot
I just did my first paid engagement shoot the other night and would love criticism/feedback on a couple of the pictures from it!

Also I think your eye for framing is really strong! Love how you tried different things I know the more reps you get the more you’ll really find a groove! Framing is so crucial so way to go!

Busy Season in Full Swing!
Hey everyone! Checking in because I know spring is typically BUSY season for most photogs! How is everyone doing? Hanging in there or feeling overwhelmed?
I’m Very Curious 🤔
Hey everyone! This thought just passed my mind and figured I’d get a conversation going on it. As a wedding photographer, I’ve had moments where the clients have asked for the RAW photos and I know many people have asked if those are “available” before the photos have been taken. My question to ya’ll is why… why Do we think they actually ask for them? Do they have the software to veiw and edit them, do they have friends who edit them or is it something they think they need to ask for because of social media ect. (I could go on about the whys) Besides the obvious understanding that if they don’t like the looks/edits or just want all the photos. That I get but still what are they going to do with them or what do they do with them? Ps: I’ve had very particular client that really wanted them and ended up printing allll the raws inside the grooms suit jacket 😅🙈 Curious on everyone’s ideas, thoughts, knowledge, experience and opinions!

I think most clients don't even know what RAWs are. They just are afraid they won't like the edits and view RAWs as the "Unedited" version. Not realizing that they're an incomplete product.

@Ola Duminuco yes I agree most people just don't know and usually they don't mean it to be insulting to a photographer's work! That's cool that you offer the "straight out of camera" version!
What would you do?
I know different photographers operate differently, so here is today's question: What would you do if a client requested you not share their photos anywhere? Not post or put them on your website? Do you cater to the client who is in the photos? Or do you stand by your rights as the photographer? I know many photographers have contracts and other guidelines set in place, and many have different opinions on this so I would love to hear how you like to run your business (if you're on the business side of things)
