The Wisdom of Summer & Deep Healing
One of the things I appreciate most about Chinese Medicine is its understanding that symptoms are often the surface expression of deeper imbalances that have been developing for months or even years. Healing isn't always about suppressing symptoms; it's about restoring balance at the root. In Chinese Medicine, the Liver plays a central role in the smooth flow of energy, blood, emotions, digestion, and detoxification. When the Liver becomes burdened, we may experience fatigue, skin concerns, hormonal shifts, digestive issues, disrupted sleep, or feelings of frustration and being "stuck." As herbs begin supporting the body's natural healing processes, it's common to notice shifts along the way. Energy may fluctuate, digestion may change, emotions may surface, and the body may begin releasing what it no longer needs. These changes can sometimes feel uncomfortable, but they often reflect the body's efforts to restore balance. Summer is the season of the Fire Element, a time of expansion, connection, joy, and vitality. Nature invites us to slow down, spend time outdoors, nourish ourselves well, connect with others, and create space for both movement and rest. Healing happens layer by layer, season by season. Trust the process, celebrate the small shifts, and remember that sometimes the deepest healing comes from supporting the body rather than forcing it. ☀️ What are you ready to release this summer, and what are you ready to make room for? ☀️

I have definiately notices how feelings of frustration that have felt stuck for months have gentle shifted. Nothing crazy.. it just feels lighter and now I intuitively know how to mange them.

Hi Julia, I'm going to try to make this Tuesday work - but in general your 10am works for me, if I can schedule it.
Monday Reflection: Growing Together
Spring reminds us that growth doesn’t need to be rushed—it happens with the right conditions, over time. Your healing is the same. This program isn’t something being done to you—it’s something you are actively stepping into. While your time with Dr. Cmolik is precious and essential, the real transformation happens in the space between: your daily choices, awareness, and willingness to engage. And you’re not doing this alone. There is real power in healing within a community—hearing others, sharing your experience, and realizing that healing isn’t linear for anyone. 🌿 This work is about more than symptom relief. It’s about understanding your body, learning the principles of Chinese medicine, and building a foundation you can carry forward long after these 6 months. The group, the platform, and these shared spaces are here to help you grow in that confidence—so you leave feeling equipped to work with the many factors life throws at us on a daily basis. And as you grow, this program is evolving too. We’re expanding support to better meet your needs. If things feel unclear, complex, or you’d like more personalized guidance, you’re always welcome to reach out. We are opening up more 1:1 support, and can help reassess with Dr. Cmolik if needed. So this week, reflect: - Where can I take a little more ownership of my healing? - What am I learning that I can begin to trust? - How can I lean into the group this week? Let this week be about participation over perfection and connection over isolation. We’re in this together 🌱✨

Hi Julia, Just wondering if any of the coaching calls work for EU times? I was looking in the calendar and couldn’t seem to find any that aren’t in the middle of my night. Also, could you point me to where I upload the photos of my younger and face? Thank you 🤗

Hi Julia, Thank you so much - I’ve emailed you. And now that you you reminded me, I do remember you saying that you we’re working on getting more coaching call times. I’ll look out for them.
Monday Reflection
Spring is Coming 🌷🌼🌿 As we move into spring, this season in Chinese medicine is deeply connected to the Liver — responsible for the smooth flow of Qi, emotions, digestion, and detoxification. This is a time of movement and renewal… and often a time where inflammation, skin, and digestive patterns become more noticeable. If you’re experiencing:• Skin flares or inflammation• Bloating or looser stools• Irritability or feeling “stuck” This can reflect the Liver beginning to move stagnation after winter. ✨ Supporting the Liver + Digestion This season is about reducing burden while increasing nourishment. Think:🌿 Simple meals🥣 Supporting digestion with warm, cooked foods🥬 Adding in fresh, seasonal foods in digestible forms And remembering… ✨ Food is information Celery juice, smoothies, fresh produce — these aren’t just “healthy” choices. They send signals to the body that support liver function, hydration, and inflammation regulation. But healing is not just what we ingest — it’s what we absorb and use. ✨ Rooted practices for spring (simple + powerful) These are small shifts that support Liver Qi and overall flow: 🌅 Morning light + gentle movement. Step outside early, stretch, walk, or do light movement. This supports the Liver’s natural upward, outward energy.(Before technology) 🍋 Warm lemon water or celery juice in the morningGently stimulates digestion and liver function without overwhelming the system. 🧘‍♀️ Twisting + stretching the bodyThink spinal twists, side stretches — these physically support Liver meridians and Qi movement. 😮‍💨 Breath + emotional releaseThe Liver holds frustration and stuck emotions. Even a few minutes of deep breathing, journaling, or pausing before reacting supports flow. 🥗 Eat with awareness. Slow down. Sit. Chew. This alone can transform how nutrients are absorbed. 🌿 Seasonal connection. Visit local farms, markets, or try a vegetable box — even occasionally. This aligns your body with the environment naturally. ✨ A gentle reminder

I’m new here and just did my first morning with lemon water and celery juice. Loved it! Still waiting for the heavy metal detox supplements, but made the smoothie with the fruit and veg. It’s a great reminder to keep eating warm - and it made me realize how much ‘cool food’ I’ve eaten over the winter.
