@Nicole C. One of the first things I would do is write down a few companies that I am eager to know about as it pertains to the companies of interest, individual stocks, mutual/index stocks that caught my eye. Then find out the tickers for each to look at the metrics, trends, growth level (short versus long term), price to earnings ratio, risk tolerance, and determine the percentage of shares I'm willing to invest. I feel I need to make $200 to $500 extra. But, I don’t know if that is doable as a new investor with less than a year in investing.
Hey all! Wanted to see how your investing journeys are going? Any new wins? Any questions? I've set up new categories and reorganized some others. Can't wait to hear from you!
@Nicole C. Yes, I have checked out the U.S. Treasury website on I bonds at 4.03% issued November 2025 until April 30, 2026 rate. The site is user friendly from what I can tell. Now, it is just making a decision on time period, etc. Thank you!
