Celebrating the little wins…
This week was a tough one for me and my little one. Some days felt long, and the tiredness weighed heavy. But today, I’m pausing to celebrate the little wins. Even though I was running on low energy, we got out of the house—not once, but twice! We made it to two playdates, and later we even went to a church event where we met a new friend. It stretched me outside my comfort zone, but it also reminded me how much joy and connection can come from showing up, even on the hard days. Motherhood isn’t about perfect days—it’s about these small moments of courage, where we choose connection over isolation, joy over fear, and love over exhaustion. Today, I’m proud of us. 💕 Anyone else have something to celebrate?

Yes! 🙌🏻 I feel all of this. As a mom of two that battles multiple autoimmune and chronic conditions. We celebrate all the small wins. We also always remind ourself that we our strength is gone that is when Gods strength is made perfect!
Help Me Shape This Cozy Space
Hi ladies, As more of you are joining, I would love to hear your heart for this community. My hope is that The Christian Homemaker can become a cozy, faith-filled space where we: ~ Exchange ideas and share what’s working in our homes ~ Give and receive encouragement when days feel heavy ~ Chat openly about faith, family, homemaking, and homeschooling ~ Form real friendships with like-minded women who love Jesus I picture this space a little like having coffee with a good friend - swapping stories, asking for advice, and walking through this season of life together. Maybe you’d love a place to: - Ask for homeschool curriculum recommendations - Find encouraging podcasts or devotionals - Swap meal ideas, homemaking tips, or fun family traditions - Simply connect with other women who get it I know how much I love when a friend sends me a podcast that lifts my spirit for days - and I want this to be that same kind of place for all of us! So let me know….What are you hoping to find, learn, or share here? Your thoughts will help me shape this community into a space that truly serves and blesses you. Can’t wait to hear from you!

Teaching our Children
Hi friends! Does anyone have any advice/tips on how to teach your kids in the way of the Lord? What are some ways you teach your children? I have a 4 year old and a 6 month old.

As a homeschool mom of two boys, teaching my kids in the ways of the Lord is something I try to weave into our everyday moments. Here are a few things that have helped us: ✨ Make Jesus part of the rhythm of your day. We keep it simple — morning prayer, a short Bible verse, or even thanking God together for something little. Kids, especially at 4, learn so much just from routine and repetition. ✨ Scripture in small bites. I like choosing one verse a week and repeating it during breakfast or in the car. Even my toddler gets excited when he recognizes parts of it! ✨ Use stories! Bible storybooks are incredible at this age. Kids understand stories far better than lectures. We read one at bedtime and talk about what it teaches us about God’s heart. ✨ Let them see your faith lived out. Honestly, kids learn the most from watching. When they see you pray, worship, speak kindness, ask for forgiveness, and trust God—those seeds go deep. ✨ Turn everyday moments into discipleship. When they’re scared → talk about how God is with us. When they’re upset → remind them of gentle answers and forgiveness. When they’re excited → celebrate how God gives good gifts. ✨ Fill your home with God’s Word. Little things like Scripture around the house, worship music playing, or Christian shows on when you need a moment—those small touches create an atmosphere of peace and truth. ✨ Grace, grace, grace. You don’t have to do it perfectly. I always remind myself: God loves our kids even more than we do, and He fills in every gap. With a 4-year-old and a baby, you’re already doing beautifully just by wanting to point them to Jesus. Keep it simple, keep it consistent, and God will honor the seeds you’re planting.
