Looking for advice.
I have never done any plein air painting and I plan on attending a plein air workshop at the end of May. Since I have two months to prepare, I am looking for any advice on how I should prepare to make this experience a success.

@Johan Krijgsman Thanks Johan for the checklist. I am attending my first plein air painting workshop in Thornbury Ontario Canada with the Blue Mountain School of Landscape Painting. The teacher is Janine Marson. Thornbury is located on Georgian Bay which is part of the Great Lakes area in the Province of Ontario.

Very nice Chuck.
Glad to be here.
I just joined this community and so far I am really glad that I did. I have been watching some of the videos, looking at the work in the posts and that has got me really excited about being part of this community.

Plein Air Painting - Painting Trees in my Local Area
Hey Artists Yesterday's plein air painting. It's so nice to just go out into my local area and paint these beautiful countryside scenes, especially trees. One of the things I'm trying to do now is go outdoors painting more regularly. I'm trying to see if I can get out once a week and just capture my local area on canvas, especially these countryside scenes, farmland, rolling green hills. I want to go out painting at least once a week to improve my plein air painting skills. The other cool thing is seeing the changing seasons here as it is now autumn in far north New Zealand where I live. I painted this artwork on an 8” by 10” linen panel in oils. Is anyone here in the group going outdoors to paint en plein air? Happy painting Sam P.S. If you'd like to learn how to paint trees like this so that you can just paint them outdoors or just improve your tree painting skills, then right now we have a tree painting course at my art school which has just started. You can catch up. Click the link to join. https://www.skool.com/samuel-earp-online-art-school/about
