The cost of my 15 night TA cruise🛳️💰
Let’s breakdown the cost of my 15 night transatlantic cruise on Odyssey of the seas.💰 Because I think this is where a lot of people get stuck with cruises, they see the total price, but not what that actually covers day to day.🛳️ For us, this cruise came to £2,754 in total for an ocean view balcony. That included 15 nights, taxes, port fees and gratuities (we always pay upfront). When you break that down, it works out at £91 per person, per night. And that is for basically everything onboard. We were having three meals a day, grabbing snacks in between, coffees throughout the day (Kevin especially 😅), and never once thinking about where we were going to eat or what anything cost. Breakfast in Two70, lunch wherever we fancied, dinner in the main dining room, it was all there. On top of that, all your entertainment is included as well. Shows like The Book and Showgirls, live music, quizzes, Seaplex, gym, and just being able to use the ship properly throughout the day. We had LOTS of sea days too, so we really got our moneys worth I think.😅 The only extra we paid was WiFi, which was £250 for one device for the full trip. I used GigSky, but even adding that in, it doesn’t massively change the overall cost when you spread it across 15 nights. One thing this cruise did confirm for me though is the balcony. It was nice to have, but we didn’t use it anywhere near as much as expected. The first part of the crossing the weather wasn’t great, and even when it improved, we still spent most of our time out and about on the ship. I think for a balcony it was still a great price, but could have cut the cost more with a different cabin… Curious, does that sound about what you expected, or higher/lower than you thought?👇
