Ground hunting
Just getting over my 4th session of chemotherapy and feelinggood enough to hunt this a.m. If nothing else cancer will make you see that every second of every minute is a gift. Had a close encounter but got busted but there are two squirrels in my bag for stew later today.

Shooting both hands
So here our a couple videos of me shooting in basement 6 yds so can see how I shoot both right and left handed. Right handed I shoot a 45 lb 1976 Kodiak magnum both eyes open instinctive. My anchor point is pointer finger bottom of check bone arrow feather touching just above point of nose. Middle finger point of mouth with bow canted. Left handed I right eye closed aim down arrow both shoot 3 under but can shoot split finger on the right handed bow. Anchor on this side is same as right I just slightly cant bow so the feather is just off nose and looking down arrow at roughly 2 pm position.

Getting started trad
Just a little information on me. I started bow hunting in 1974 with a bear 76er. Used it for a couple of years then went to compound. I am 67 years old and was thinking about getting back into it. I have a Kodiak hunter and a pse take down I have purchased both are 50 lbs at 28 inch draw. Is what I am having problems with is the bear shocks my hand pretty good. I really like it it’s light for still hunting compared to the pse. But I need a lot of guidance with arrows and rests. Tuning form and anything to be proficient. I will be asking for help as I get started again in traditional bows Thank you

@Michael Stenstrom I went to Cabela’s with the intent on buying a Lefty Montana 50#, they were out of them so hanging next to the Montanas was a Lefthand Kodiak Magnum 50th Anniversary! It’s a sweet shooter and on good day I can put 3-5 arrows in 4” ⭕️ at 30yrds
