Bicycle Parts
I needed to purchase some bicycle parts for my wife’s bike. About $200 give in parts. I had my badge on when I walked in (my headlight ID badge) and the manager read it. He then asked me if I would take a look at his lights. We stepped out and he had a new Mazda. His lights were fine, just very dirty and splattered with bug. I Used my Panel Prep, Clay Bar and two coat of ceramic on the headlights, taillights and fog lights. Literally took 25 mins. I got paid with all new bicycle parts that were valued at $167. Worked out great for me but the most important thing was that my wife was very happy that her bike was fixed.

For the panel prep, I use 1/3 Isopropyl Alcohol to 2/3 water and cleaned with a clay bar. I applied New Headlight Ceramic afterwards.
Did I just find the Holy Grail of headlight restoration?
I paid $135 for both at home depot. The PackOut system is incredible. I have used them for years. Saw this and figure they would be great. I broke the tool box I had from amazon so hopefully this lasts longer.

What do you tell a customer
So i have a customer who is did thier light a few months back i used stay clear lights came out great they called today and said they want me to look at thier car that it had a scratch and to see if it's fixable im assuming it might be a deep scratch and im not considering this a warranty issue as the scratch was possibly done after my job if the scratch is too deep what would you say?

Alex, just as a friendly reminder, I now offer two different methods. With my current method, I can effectively remove most scratches from the lens. For instance, I recently worked on a 2004 BMW 328. The owner intended to replace both headlights, but I kindly ask him to give it a try. He was totally blown away when I successfully removed the medium scratches. Impressed by my work, he immediately asked me to do the same for his wife’s 2004 Porsche. I genuinely enjoy providing customers with the option to choose the best method for their needs.

Consistency PAYS
This client had been watching my posts on next-door for several weeks and saw one that I posted last Friday and said “I’ve been watching your posts and saw that you were before and after you recently posted looked amazing and I figured I would give you a call. I am so glad I did because those have been bugging me for a while while with how bad they looked. “ Just because someone doesn’t book the first time you post, does not mean it’s not working. And it definitely does not mean that people are not watching. Sometimes they want to see if you are serious and going to “stay in business “before they use you. I typically get about 1000 views anytime I post, I am posting as a personal page and I have my about me section on next-door all about Headlights. Sometimes I get no comments. Sometimes I get several comments. The post that he called off of, he never even commented on. He simply just called.

Huge improvement!! Totally agree with staying consistent. I pass out rack cards 3-5 times a week 75-100 at a time. It has gotten me work but, not as much as I would like. Is it possible to post or video a step by step process for posting on Next Door?
