Retire and tired at times
Wanting to learn what I can. I'm constantly seeking info from others in my journey to improve my health and stay healthy. My health is generally good for my age and don't have many ailments that others my age have. So thankful for this

Imposter Syndrome??
Who has ever suffered from Imposter Syndrome?? Here is some information about how to recognise it and tips to release it 🚨 Signs of Imposter Syndrome & How to Release It 🚨 Do you ever feel like you’re not truly deserving of your success or that you’re just “lucky” and not as capable as others think? You might be dealing with Imposter Syndrome. 🤔 It’s more common than you think, and it can show up in surprising ways. I used to suffer from this too so please do not feel you are lone you are not! Let’s unpack this: Signs of Imposter Syndrome 1️⃣ Self-Doubt: Constantly questioning your abilities, even when you’ve proven yourself. 2️⃣ Fear of Being “Exposed”: Feeling like you’re a fraud and someone will “find you out.” 3️⃣ Downplaying Achievements: Attributing your successes to external factors like luck or timing instead of your skills and effort. 4️⃣ Overworking: Pushing yourself to exhaustion because you feel the need to “prove” yourself. 5️⃣ Avoiding New Challenges: Holding back from opportunities because you fear failure. 6️⃣ Perfectionism: Thinking you’re only good enough when things are flawless. Tips to Release Imposter Syndrome 💡 Acknowledge It: Recognise that these feelings are normal but not reflective of reality. Even high achievers experience this! 💡 Celebrate Your Wins: Write down your accomplishments, big or small, and revisit them when self-doubt creeps in. 💡 Shift Your Inner Dialogue: Replace “I’m not good enough” with “I’m learning and growing every day.” 💡 Take Action Anyway: Confidence comes from doing, not waiting until you feel “ready.” 💡 Ask for Feedback: Sometimes, hearing genuine praise and constructive input can shift your perspective. 💡 Join a Supportive Community: Surround yourself with people who encourage and uplift you (like this amazing group!). Invite others you think might resonate and benefit from the group. 🗨️ Let’s Hear From You! Have you ever experienced Imposter Syndrome? Which of these tips resonates most with you? Or, share your own strategies for overcoming it.

I took me many years to understand and accept what others were seeing in me. It was even pointed out to me while listening to a person tell one of my sons of what he knew of me when we worked in the same company years before. Once I accepted this, I learned and was quite successful during my career and helped to influence many others to success as well.

Retired and seeking more. Living on a restrictive income is not only a challenge but also an obstacle to living a full life in your older years.
