Day/Proverbs #20 1. 👀 What stood out to you? The wayward soul enters into self-destruction 2. 💡 Did you learn anything new? Verse 6 from The Living Bible: Most people will tell you what loyal friends they are, but are they telling the truth? Solomon is very wise. Each verse tears away pretense. 3. 🎯 How does this apply to us today? Self-awareness is a Godsend. Anger, distress, and even depression can make me unaware. Seeking consul of friend and God will correct this problem; else verse 30: Punishment that hurts chases evil from the heart.

Studied grace in Galatians again tonight, and it was an awesome reminder of how it helps us to live a life apart from sin. Tonight was a bit rough for me, I thought I overcame my illness last week but it came back with a vengeance. Pushed through the study, and I'm thankful for yall's grace with this one. :)

1. 👀 What stood out to you? v19 "A man of great wrath will suffer punishment; For if you rescue him, you will have to do it again." Makes me think of violent criminals. If we punish them harshly, we can get them to stop. 2. 💡 Did you learn anything new? (If yes, what?) I don't really understand verse 24 - "A lazy man buries his hand in the bowl, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again." I have been lazy before, but never so lazy that I can't return my hand to my mouth have dipping chips in some salsa. It seems impossible to me to reach such a state. But maybe people in utter hopelessness could get there. 3. 🎯 How can you apply this to your life? v27 "Cease listening to instruction, my son, And you will stray from the words of knowledge." - Keep trying to learn. Never think you've figured it all out.

Day/Proverbs #19 1. 👀 What stood out to you? Proverbs has very few grey-areas. 2. 💡 Did you learn anything new? So much of the Bible contradicts Calvin’s predestination. 3. 🎯 How does this apply to us today? Plain truth to live by; let the judges sort-out the grey-areas.

I am a movie fan; so I love to see & support good Christian movies. I went to see Daniel & The Fiery Furnace; & what I saw was disgusting! The film lied about, twisted & added to the Biblical version. It even rewrote secular history, by having Jeremiah invent a low key printing press! At the end, the majority of the theater applauded!! 🙄 How sad is it when the church can't even discern the truth about 2 stories that even children know; & could have told them were not accurate in this movie?!? 🤔
