The problem is lots of surface-level connections in lots of groups without real depth, belonging, or support. Excited about this community. Since the olden days when there were forums I haved loved online communities and the ease at which like minded people can come together around a common iterest, passion or goal. Collaboration has always been a core value of mine so this community really excites me. I also love being in from the start and being apart of the journey. Thank you @Justin Yip for dreaming big, asking better questions and creating this space.

(👀 🎧 read or listen) What if "TRUTH" is the highest form of marketing? Well... IT IS! I appreciate you all being here. I wouldn't post something like this in the free community, not yet anyway. We're here to be be honest and "truthful" with ourselves and each other. This is some of what I actually believe and want to say. This is some of the "truth" that I believe people are looking for... because I'm also looking for it. What do I really want to offer people? It's not actually business strategy. It's not actually even community. It's SELF-ACTUALIZATION. When you are living to your highest potential. Business is a pathway for that. Community, the kind we are creating, supports that too. RED FLAG PEOPLE! 🚩 They get in the way of that. Green Flag People 💚 They support you to become a better version of yourself. 👀 Check out the image for Green Flags in people. That's who we want here in our Town Square. 👀 Also check out the pyramid, which is Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. At the top is SELF-ACTUALIZATION. You ARE living to your highest potential. Fully expressed. Nothing holding you back. And what comes before that? Belonging. Esteem. That's the real "gift" that this community has the potential to offer to each other. Belonging & Meaningful Relationships → Esteem & Recognition → Living Your Higher Potential That's what this is REALLY about. We're just "calling" it the Town Square 😏 I value DEPTH. I thought there was no place for that in the business I was building before. But I was just repressing what I actually feel called to share. None of us should be reluctant to share and express our truth, what we really believe. Because if it's true to you, it's true to someone else who is looking for you. P.S. This is a write-up of what this community could be from my own notes and also from my conversation with @Devin Trent. Most online communities are kind of... lopsided... One expert. One agenda. One audience consuming passively. That's not a community. The Town Square is intended to be something different. A place where entrepreneurs who see business as a path of personal growth can actually think out loud together. Where you don't have to perform confidence or pretend you have it figured out. Where depth is normal, curiosity is celebrated, and being in-process isn't something to hide. Not a room full of lurkers. A room full of people who actually show up. Calls hosted by members, for members. Conversations that go somewhere real. People who know what they bring and show up to contribute it. A "digital" town square in the oldest sense of the word. A place where reputation is built through consistent goodwill over time, not through funnels and frameworks and polished sales calls. A place where you don't need to separate who you are from what you build. That's what we want this to be. But here's the thing. I can't build it alone, and I don't want to... but I have been building this alone... The best communities aren't built top-down. They're co-created by the people who show up and contribute. So I want to hear from you: What would make this the AEN community feel like you belong? What's missing from every other community you've been part of?
