💺 The Middle Seat?
You find a great flight deal… but the cheapest fare means you can’t choose your seat. For an extra $40, you can guarantee an aisle or window seat. What are you doing? Drop your answer below — and if you picked D, you HAVE to share the hack! 👀

I took C / the middle seat when flying with the little daughter and to distract her, she got the window.
Earn Points From My Car Accident?
I was unfortunately in a car accident over the weekend. Fortunately for me, I was not hurt just my car got some pretty good damage and it's going to need to go into a body shop. Because I have a Tesla, I'm going to try to get it into a Tesla approved body shop... and lord knows they can be back logged. Well... my mind goes directly to ... how can I earn points from this unfortunate event?? So the wheels in my head are already turning thinking MAYBE I could book my own car rental on my Chase Sapphire Reserve card since it has car rental protection. This way I could earn 8x points per dollar through the car rental agency on Chase Travel. Then I could just have the insurance company cut me a check. Now - I'm not saying this is going to go down but at least it is worth a TRY!

A $129 Travel Hack Lesson Learned
💳 A $129 Lesson I Learned the Hard Way... Here's a reminder to regularly log in to every one of your credit card accounts and review the benefits and transfer offers. I learned this lesson the expensive way. For the past two years, I've been paying $129 per year for a Point.me membership. Then I recently logged into my American Express account and realized that Amex now partners with Point.me, giving eligible cardholders access to award flight searches through the Amex Travel portal. Had I known that sooner, I could have saved myself $129 this year. 🤦‍♀️ While I was in my account, I also noticed a couple of transfer bonuses that are currently available: 🏨 Hilton Honors: 20% transfer bonus ✈️ Virgin Atlantic: 30% transfer bonus These promotions change over time, which is exactly why it's worth checking your accounts regularly. You never know what new benefits, statement credits, transfer bonuses, or partner offers have been added since the last time you logged in. Takeaway: Don't just use your credit cards—make sure you're taking advantage of everything that comes with them. A quick five-minute check could save you money or help your points go much further. Question for the community: Have you ever discovered a credit card benefit you didn't realize you already had?

This is so true!
✈️ Don't Book Your Flight Before You Do This...
One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is finding a destination they want to visit, buying the flight, and only then thinking about how they're going to pay for the hotel. Instead, flip the process. Ask yourself: - Do I have hotel points for this destination? - Are there transfer partners that give me better value? - Is there a hotel offering a 5th night free with points? - Would another airport or nearby city stretch my points even further? On my recent trip to Italy, I used points to stay in some incredible hotels that would have cost thousands of dollars out of pocket. A little planning before booking my flights made a huge difference in the value I got from my points. The goal isn't just to travel—it's to travel smarter. 💬 Question for you: What's the biggest travel expense you're hoping to reduce this year? - Flights ✈️ - Hotels 🏨 - Rental Cars 🚗 - Food 🍽️ - Something else? Drop your answer below! 👇

🌍 Stay Safe While Exploring Somewhere New
Traveling is one of the best experiences you can have, but a few simple habits can make a huge difference in keeping your trip stress-free. Here are a few of my go-to safety tips: ✈️ Share your itinerary with someone you trust before you leave. 📍 Download offline maps in case you lose cell service. 💳 Carry at least two forms of payment and keep them in separate places. 🔋 Pack a portable phone charger so you're never stuck with a dead battery. 🚶‍♀️ Stay aware of your surroundings and avoid walking while distracted by your phone. 🚖 Use reputable transportation options and verify rideshare license plates before getting in. 🛂 Keep digital copies of your passport, ID, and important travel documents stored securely. 💧 Trust your instincts. If a situation or place doesn't feel right, leave. Most trips go exactly as planned, but being prepared gives you peace of mind so you can focus on enjoying the adventure. What's one travel safety tip you swear by? Share it below! 👇 This works well as a discussion post because it gives immediate value while inviting members to contribute their own experiences.
