When we were kids, two of my brothers and I decided we wanted to pool our money together to be able to buy tix for our family of 8 to go to Dland for a day. We worked hard for I have no idea how long baby sitting neighbors kids, refereeing soccer, and selling candy to dad’s students in summer school. The day we were able to tell my parents that we had enough money to buy 8 1 day passes was so special (we were by no means wealthy). Going to the bank and exchanging all our small bills into $100s and $20s was a crazy experience! At that age, it was the most cash any of us had ever held. We stayed with my aunt, uncle, and cousins in West Covina and went to Disneyland! By far one of our best days at the parks. We felt so happy to be able to treat our whole family!
