Quick question for the group… What’s the one menu item that became your shop’s biggest hit that you didn’t see coming? Maybe a random flavor A simple topping combo A seasonal item that turned into a staple Or something customers basically demanded you keep forever Drop it below 👇 And if you want, share why you think it took off. Bonus question: What item did you think would be huge… but totally flopped? Let’s hear the surprises on both sides 😄
I’ll kick things off. My shops hero item and identity is the pineapple ‘Dole-Whip’ from Hawaii. My partner and I pivoted away from being a frozen custard icecream shop early on into our shops journey and honestly it was the best decision we’ve ever made. Pineapple soft serve fits my shop perfects and over the years it’s become my businesses identity. regarding items that have been disappointing, we’ve tried: milkshakes, turkey legs, Flavor Burst, bottled sodas, made in house nachos & cheese, personal pizzas, and most recently we’ve decided to remove our fried food options.

Hello and good afternoon, everyone. Thanks for being here and being a member of this community. My goal is to develop this into a worldwide club for likeminded ice cream business owners! with that being said, if you know other ice cream shop owners it would be great if you could send them in invite to join this community! We can all learn a lot from each other!
