Been trying to work on hiring people, mainly contractors right now, and it has been going decently well, but it has all been under the table stuff, and I did have one nightmare contractor mess things up so it was off putting, but I am going to get back after it when the busy season picks back up around the end of March. Thinking of getting a remote setter to answer calls, respond to messages, give estimates, and book quote appointments. Also will try and get 1 or 2 Field Techs (or more if we start getting too much work) to work in the field and complete the jobs. This will allow me the time and energy to focus on going out and giving quotes, landing government and commercial contracts, and admin work (bookkeeping, taxes, invoice submissions, customer service, etc) If anyone has experience hiring people, comment below! Will update this as I continue to push for this in 2026.
