@Torah Worldwide because blindly following nationalism creates an "us and them" mentality.... I don't worship flags or blindly follow large groups. That's what turned every day Germans into complacent participants.....

@Torah Worldwide Even religion can be beneficial, and I understand the Jews have a different kind of unity forced upon them also out of necessity. Not to mention the Koran mentions Jews a lot. I'm sure there are some benefits, and while we do have a shared culture here, it is also a mixing pot of cultures here. We have aboriginals who have there own flag (white people made for them).... Maybe it's just me... I also used to travel a lot. I get lots of hate if I don't stand for the national anthem at a football game for example. I just imagine large crowds hailing Hitler when I see everyone stand up for a flag and a song.
