1️⃣ Week 1 has started. Let's go! 🚀
From Zero to First Sales: 6 Week Sprint 1️⃣ This week is all about Research, Ideas and finding a niche. Before we dive in, one important thing: This sprint is focused on Etsy. In my experience it's the fastest and most beginner-friendly platform to get real results with 3D printed products. Other platforms work too, but I'll be running everything on Etsy myself and that's where my guidance will be most useful. If you don't have an Etsy store yet, create one this week. It's free and takes less than 30 minutes. That's your foundation. Now, before you print anything, before you list anything, before you spend a single euro, you need to know what you're selling and why it will sell. Most people skip this step. That's why most people fail. I know research isn't the most exciting part, but it's the step that separates the ones who make sales from the ones who just own a printer. Do it right once and everything else gets easier. ✅ Your task this week: 1. Set up your Etsy store if you don't have one yet 2. Go to the Etsy search bar and look at what is trending right now (Easter products might be to late, seasonal items, upcoming holidays) 3. Go to Google Gemini and use a prompt like this: "Please provide me with a list of typical events, trends or holidays in [Your Country] over the next three months, along with the potential market demand for products related to each event." You will get things like: start of gardening season, Mother's Day, FIFA World Cup, wedding season and more. 4. Write down trends and ideas that YOU like and actually understand. This is important. If you don't connect with the topic you won't stay motivated and you won't understand the real problems behind it. 5. Now imagine yourself living inside that trend. Sounds weird but it works. Example for weddings: You're decorating the venue. You want a cozy candy bar, a cocktail bar, people need to find their seats, there's a catering queue, guests need directions to the toilets, a spot to leave gifts, a place to make song requests, a photo booth area.

I’ll probably start with these line art decor pieces. I can see there are similar products on Etsy, but not necessarily this detailed. What do you think? I also have a beagle design in progress. I was thinking of creating several popular dog breeds as well. They’re already listed on a Hungarian site, but they only have around 48 views so far, and that’s it.
My first own LED sign :)
I really enjoyed the process, but it was very time-consuming. Especially since it was my first time soldering in my life. I had no idea what to do or how, so I had to buy all the tools for it. I learned from YouTube videos what to solder where and why, and how to set up WLED.

About me!
Hi everyone, my name is Quaid (ka-id). I’m currently studying Commerce at a university in Canada. I’m really interested in combining 3D printing with my business knowledge to build a side hustle and support my daily living. Outside of that, I’m into anime, JDM cars (have a manual civic currently in the pics), and 3D printing (no surprise there). I’m excited to be part of this community and look forward to sharing what I know while learning and growing alongside all of you

Greetings to everyone !
My name is Daniel. I'm from Romania. I worked in a business where I could make a pretty good passive income for a long time to come, with about 1-2 hours of work per week. I have long wanted to make a business with 3D printing. I've been selling two 3D printed products for about 5 years. They sold pretty well. These products are designed by me from the first second. I only sold on a site with ads until 2 months ago. My first and only printer was a Voxelab Aquila x2. He worked well and worked around a loooot. I sold it 3 months ago, with 35,000 hours of operation:)) It worked perfectly without any problem only changed consumabiles. Recently I bought an H2S from Bambu, with which I learned that many more complex and personalized products can be made. Now with more time to deal with it, I started to fulfill my dream. I had some ideas for products, which I designed, printed and started making a small portfolio. Meanwhile, I set up my company and personal website to sell new products online, in addition to the old two products. I can't say it doesn't work at all, but unfortunately I have hours when the printer doesn't work. The two old products received an upgrade and continue to be sold, but this printer makes 38 pieces at once in about 4 hours, until the old one made a piece in 1:25 hours. I have been following @Nils Osterhues for a long time and I wanted from the beginning to have a printfarm like him with packaging etc. I entered this project to learn what and how to do to grow and fulfill my dream with printfarm:)
Greetings to everyone !
