how to use reiki for anxiety relief in real time
you've probably heard about the 5 sense exercise to calm your anxiety. when your in the moment, sometimes, even THAT is overwhelming. reiki can help calm your anxiety in a way that doesn't have to be overwhelming when anxiety rises, there's a few things you can do. you can start by bringing your hands to your body in a way that's calming for you. maybe try one hand over your heart and the other on your stomach. or maybe hands palm together at your heart. if touch is too overwhelming, you can always simply close your eyes slow your breath. focus on your own warmth + presence. when you've done this, activate your reiki to help support you through the emotions. reiki in these moments isn’t about making anxiety disappear, it’s about supporting your body through it. doing this through anxious moments even if it's only for a few minute can make all the difference what ways do you center yourself in moments of anxiety??

reiki is a subtle, but powerful form of energy healing that works with your body’s natural ability to restore balance. it’s not about forcing change. reiki helps create space for your nervous system to soften. as you continue to receive reiki, you'll notice your mind quiet. your energy will begin to regulate. when you receive reiki, what does it feel like for you??

for me personally, it depends on what reiki feels like. for the most part, it's soft and gentle. if reiki is helping me do shadow work, mannnn does it feel a bit heavy. the lightness that comes afterwards is ✨ magical ✨ though

this space is here to support gentle awareness, intention setting, and energetic reflection throughout the week. consistent check-ins help us stay connected to our practice, our intuition, and each other each week, you’re welcome to share : • how your energy has been feeling • an intention you are holding for the week • a reiki focus or self-practice you are exploring • something you are releasing or calling in • or simply a word that reflects your current state you may also contribute to the weekly reiki box. what is a reiki box you might ask? a reiki box is a place where i'll safely write down something you wish to receive reiki for throughout the week. all i'll need is your name, location, and what situation or person (yourself included) that you'd like to receive reiki throughout the next week. after all submissions are in and the box is secured, a picture will be uploaded of that week's box so others in the group can send reiki too. any participation in the reiki box is optional there is no right or wrong way to participate. any short reflections, emojis, or longer shares are all welcome. it doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a master. witnessing one another’s journeys helps create a steady, supportive rhythm within our collective practice
