A gentle thought on expanding beyond digital (when & if it feels right)
I know many of us here are focused on digital products on Etsy — which is an amazing place to start, especially when time and energy are limited 💛 Something I’ve personally found cool and surprisingly calm (when done intentionally) is using Shopify alongside Etsy for physical products — not as a replacement, but as an extension. Here’s what I’ve learned in a simple, no-pressure way: • Etsy is discovery – people find you • Shopify is ownership – you control the brand, the customer experience, and the long-term vision What surprised me most is that Shopify doesn’t have to be “big” or overwhelming. It can start with: 1–3 physical products A clean, simple store Fulfilment handled gradually (no rush, no chaos) It’s been refreshing to see how a physical product can: ✔️ Add another income stream ✔️ Help a brand feel more tangible ✔️ Work beautifully alongside digital products This isn’t a “you should do this” post at all — just sharing what’s been interesting and helpful for me as a creator who values clarity, simplicity, and growth that fits real life. If you’re ever curious about blending digital + physical, or Etsy + Shopify, it’s absolutely something that can be done calmly, step by step, when the timing feels right 🌱 Would love to hear — are you fully digital right now, or have you ever thought about adding a physical product someday?
