@Matt Westerlaken I completely respect that perspective Matt. And honestly, I used to think the exact same way. I used to look at standard templates online and think they were only meant for mass produced cheap items not for high end serious creative work. But what completely flipped my mindset was realizing that elite galleries and serious creators don't use high end frameworks for the 'shop' look. They use them behind the scenes for total control, bulletproof file security and automating premium print distribution globally. When I finally figured out how to package digital and creative assets properly it completely changed my life and allowed me to exit the 9-5 grind. @Kate Crock Haha oh no definitely not! I don't have a course or anything to sell you at all. I just genuinely love photography and talking shop with people who have a good eye! I completely get your hesitation though. Those two exact doubts images not scaling up right and wondering who would even buy this? are the biggest walls everyone hits when they start looking at the online space. My sister actually had the exact same technical issues with her digital art resizing terribly. What completely fixed it for her was getting some guidance from an e-commerce expert mentor. He showed her the exact lightweight tools to upscale images perfectly without losing quality, and how to find the specific audiences who pay premium prices for unique work.

@Kate Crock It completely changed her perspective and now she runs her own independent Shopify store full time and left the 9-5 grind completely behind. @Marco van den Heuvel That’s actually a strong mindset for Day 1 — especially choosing to use something you almost deleted. That’s often where growth starts. You don’t really need spectacular views to build a solid portfolio anyway a lot of the progress comes from how you see and frame what’s already around you. What kind of photography are you hoping to focus on most as you build your portfolio?
