Monthly spend/cost
Hi everyone, I hope you’re doing well. I have a quick question before I go down this amazing rabbit hole. Could someone please tell me what to expect in terms of monthly spend? I am completely new to Claude. I understand that I need a pro subscription which is $30 USD per month. Will that be enough? I’m sure it’ll be well worth it but so far I’ve been doing a lot with free tools thanks for your help.

Nice! Thanks for the reply, very encouraging. I’ll give it a try then :)

Quick update, I agree with Joseph. After a few hours of doing day 0 and day 1 plus a lot of geeking out, I reached 20% of my current session limit and 3% of my weekly limit. That includes importing 13 years, 2,989 activities and 287 days of wellness, and analyzing all of that. You'd have to try really hard to reach the limit. Pro is very sufficient.

Woah this is so cool! I connected Claude (with Garmin instead of Strava because I don't have Strava premium) using https://www.skool.com/athlete-ai-community/connect-garmin-to-claude-code?p=15909dc8 It worked really well. The one thing it told me that I didn't know is that there might be a link between my injury and my strength training. I felt it after each long runs so I didn't think to look further but looking a patterns going back years, it spotted something I didn't 😮 #Day1Connected

Update on #Day1: I personnally was surprised that the whole setup was based on Strava because Strava is one step removed from my Garmin data. I understand that not everyone has a garmin watch so Strava is more universal. So my goal was to trust the process and eventually get more data from Garmin. But now that I see in Day 1 that we need a Strava premium sub, I'm pivoting to Garmin directly, using these instructions: https://www.skool.com/athlete-ai-community/connect-garmin-to-claude-code?p=15909dc8 I hope this doesn't break the whole setup but I'm willing to try. I'm extremely impressed about Claude Code's ability to hit problems and resolve them itself. "I've fixed the bug in the login code. Garmin's server briefly rate-limited the login attempt (a known hiccup with this library, not something you did wrong) — I'll wait about 6 minutes for that to clear and then retry automatically. I'll let you know how it goes." It totally worked. Used the "First Look at Strava Data" prompt but changed Strava to Garmin and asked for the last 16 weeks. It worked flawlessly, so amazing :). I also requested my full data from Garmin. It will take up to 48h to get it. Once I have it, I'll share with Claude so it has my full training and health history. Will be back soon for Day 2. Cheers!!
Hi everyone,
I'm Kris. I like stretch goals and challenges that take me outside of my confort zone. Started running in 2015 and focused on half-marathons for about 5 years and then moved to marathons. In 2023 I ran an 80k for charity and raised 10k. Then I got tired of running so decided to complete the Rogue 1000lbs challenge with a twist: doing the challenge followed by a marathon, all under 5h. Gained 30 lbs to be able to lift these weights so the marathon was hard but got it all done in 4h57m. Then I decided to go for a sub 3h marathon. It took me 18 months to succeed, which I just did in May of this year. Now I want to be #1 in Canada in the INTVL app, but I think I have a little injury so I might have to pivot for a bit. That's part of me. Happy to be here!

Yeah, it's pretty addictive. You run (or now bike) loops and conquer the territory in the middle. It's not about speed. All about distance. The longer you run, the more territory you capture. It's like pokemon go meets strava.
Welcome to Athlete AI. Introduce Yourself!
Glad you're here. I'm Kevin, an ultrarunner & triathlete (Leadville 100 was my most fun race). I'm not a tech guru. I got curious about AI, realized I could build training tools tailored exactly to me from my own data, and it actually worked. Now I want to teach you to do the same and connect with people building cool things in fitness with AI. That's the whole idea: learn something genuinely interesting, build stuff that's truly yours, and do it alongside like-minded people. Zero coding required. Five steps to start: 1. Introduce yourself in the feed. Something like: "Hi, I'm Steve, I run trail ultras and can't wait to build with AI!" 2. Complete the intro poll so we know we can build the content around what you want: Athlete AI Poll 3. Watch Start Here course (top of the Classroom). Two minutes. 4. Do Day 0 in the 7-Day Challenge: Set Up Your Workshop. 5. Post in Wins as you finish each day, tagged (#Day0Ready). We celebrate every one. The setup day is the hardest part, and we get everyone through it. Stuck? Post what you tried and someone (often me) will get you unstuck. Let's build. Follow the road to The Rut.

Thanks so much for starting this community. I found out about it on your insta and am genuinely excited to give it a try. Before this, I would manually paste Garmin screenshots to copilot. It would take me a few mins every morning. Looking forward to automating all of that!!
