Sharon, thank you for getting back to me on this. As you could probably tell I was still fleshing out both the thought and the research I had come across. It's definitely a 501c3 whose mission is to Inspire and empower all people with a focus on underserved youth through STEAM, arts, and entrepreneurship. This is done through initiatives established by strategic partnership with a religious org and for-profit. Long story short wanting to make a really big move to secure land and build a space within a newly minted Development District, and I'd seen some examples where grants/grant writers, OPM (other peoples money), and saying the right things to the right people were largely responsible for getting the deal done.
