Why income advice kept failing me as a mom.
I started Stories to Shine because I was tired of feeling like something was wrong with me for not being able to “stick” with income ideas. I wanted financial peace — but not at the cost of my kids, my presence, or the life I was actively living. And every time I tried to build something that didn’t fit that reality, I’d eventually stop. Not because I didn’t care — but because it wasn’t sustainable. Over time, I realized the problem wasn’t me. It was the way I was being taught to build. I created this community because I wanted a space where moms don’t have to push through seasons that require softness, flexibility, and presence — and still move forward. A place to slow down, rebuild self-trust, and build income in a way your life can actually hold. I'm building the community I wish I would have had years ago.

@Sandra Pilarczyk 6, 5 and 3. All boys. It's a wild ride.
You think about money more than you admit.
You think about money more than you admit. Not because you’re irresponsible —but because you’re carrying a lot, and you want things to feel more stable. You want financial peace. But not if it costs you your kids, your presence, or the story you’re living right now. If you’ve ever: – Thought about income but felt overwhelmed by the options – Tried something before and quietly lost momentum – Or worried that choosing wrong could make things worse You’re not behind. And you’re not failing. Stories to Shine is a calm, clarity-driven community for moms who want to build income in a way that actually fits their life — without hustle, pressure, or sacrificing what matters most. Inside, you’ll get: ✨ Less overwhelm around income decisions ✨ A clear next step that fits real mom life ✨ Support so you don’t quit when it gets hard No pushing. No pretending real life isn’t happening. Just steady support to help you keep going. If you’re ready to build income without losing yourself —you belong here. Join us here: Stories to Shine

@Sandra Pilarczyk Fair point 🤣 And thank you!
How "SHOWING UP" Changes Everything!
Lately, I feel like I’ve been on a talk-show circuit—call after call, conversation after conversation—climbing my way through Star Search. And no matter who I’m talking to, the answer I keep giving is always the same. ⭐"Just show up."⭐ Three simple words. My secret sauce. In fact, they might be the most powerful words a Skooler can carry. Because showing up is deceptively easy—and that’s exactly why people avoid it. “I’ll let you know.” “I’ll see.” “I can’t commit right now.” Those phrases feel safe. Polite. Reasonable.But they quietly shut the door on something extraordinary. When you show up, you don’t just attend a call—you collide with possibility. You might meet a future collaborator. You might meet someone who thinks like you, wants what you want, and ends up building alongside you. What if you meet the one person who fills a gap you didn’t even know existed. You might learn a skill. You might spark an idea. You might change someone’s life—without ever realizing you did. Think of it this way: 😍 You are the gift! 😍 And when you show up, your presence matters. It shifts rooms. It changes conversations. It makes people feel seen. It creates belief. It opens doors—sometimes for you, sometimes for someone else. And the wild part? You receive just as much as you give. So if you’re just starting out—especially if you’re unsure, nervous, or waiting to feel “ready”—here’s my challenge to you: Show up. It’s the one move that keeps paying dividends long after the moment passes. — Nick Nebelsky AI STORYTELLERS

I really love this. I’ve noticed that showing up often feels hard because people don’t feel like they can show up as themselves. When showing up turns into performing, or trying to fit into a version of success that doesn’t match your real life, it becomes unsustainable. When you let go of that and show up as your real self, showing up stops feeling heavy. It becomes something you enjoy doing and your presence compounds over time.
The Real Work Is Becoming the Person Who Can Sustain It.
You can follow the strategies. You can build the systems. You can even see traction. And still feel overwhelmed. Because at a certain point, building a thriving business isn’t about learning more —it’s about having the capacity to hold it. The decisions. The consistency. The emotional weight of showing up, leading, and staying in it long-term. That’s where most builders struggle — not because they’re doing it wrong, but because they’re doing it alone. Stories to Shine is a supportive community for moms who are building real businesses and want support not just for what they’re building, but for who they’re becoming. It’s not about another strategy. It’s about clarity, reflection, and being in a room where growth feels sustainable. If you’re already building and want support that helps you become the person who can sustain a thriving business, this might be the space you’ve been looking for.

Almost anything crafty or diy. I refinished an old table and chairs when my husband and I first got married. 3 busy boys make that hard to accomplish these days though.
