4 contributions to Break Free from the System
Lesson 3: Earning an Extra Income
Earning money is something that becomes so centrally important to our lives because of how our society is structured. I would love to go back to the olden days of the bartering system or where money was backed by gold because it was simpler times. I'm sure many people agree with me, but we have to take life as it comes, and that's just not the way things are anymore. In order to survive, (and not be homeless and/or starving), we have to make an income! Luckily, like we talked about in the last lesson, there are actually an infinite number of ways to do so. In fact, the more original and creative your idea is, the higher chance it will be considered valuable to someone. This is true in the form of inventions for example. If you can create or think something that no one else has thought of to solve a problem many people deal with, you can strike it rich! It pays to go against the grain. If you go the same way as so many others because it's comfortable, that actually makes you less valuable and more easily replaceable. That does not mean that you cannot follow in others footsteps; it just means that if you connect to your own being and decide what you really want to do with your life, you will figure out a way to monetize your passions and share them with the world. There was an exercise that I was taught back when I worked for a spiritual healer, and it was centered around money blocks. Basically, (and I will cover this in more depth later), your body has energy systems that are connected but different in the way they operate based on where they are located. If you already know what I mean, that's great. You are in the right place, but for those that have never heard of this before, what I am explaining is called the Chakra System, and it moves up and down your entire body. You might be thinking, "what does any of that have to with money?" Well, your very first Chakra, called your root chakra is located at the base of the spine, and this essentially is in charge of your fight or flight response. It makes sense because the base of your spine is what literally connects your nervous system to your legs. You cannot run away from danger or stand your ground and fight without your legs.

This is a good lesson for most! Very thoughtful, however, with my mindset...This could be a disaster, as I already have a hard time making up my mind. I'll stick with my three that I have in mind now. :)
Lesson 2: Capitalism for the Soul
The sad reality that we all wake up to everyday is that we live in a capitalist society. No matter how much we try to escape that reality, it always catches up to us in one way or another. Without your own land to grow food, we must buy food to eat. Without our own fresh water supply, we must buy water to drink. With the laws in place almost everywhere on planet Earth, we must pay just to keep a roof over our heads. It's not the way that things should be, but it is the way that it is. There are ways to avoid playing by the rules such as using a camper van to avoid rent costs, working a job that covers room and board to travel for free, buying land outright and building a homestead, or just trudging into the woods in a destination of your choice and living off the land, hoping no government officials find your hiding spot. I have met many people along my travels that have tried these methods and have even been successful at them. If these methods interest anyone following this page, I would be happy to address them and provide more information on how to achieve them. But this post is aimed at a different approach: learning to make enough money to achieve the life you want to live, so that you can live without stressing over it. There are an infinite number of ways to make money if you think about it. The system tries to brainwash you into thinking, you HAVE to have a regular job to earn a stable income. Why? Because they need workers to support their businesses that are willing to be paid less than they're worth! In order for the corporations to operate and make their millions and billions of dollars, they need slaves to do the dirty work for them! That is why it is ingrained in us from an early age to get a job and stay there until you retire. Not only do they need you, but the system thrives from people being too busy to create any significant change in their lives let alone any significant change to the way the world operates!! The good news is that you can choose to live in a completely different way than you are told. It is your life to live freely, and the way to freedom only requires baby steps. Look at how many ways there are to make money. There is no limit except the limit of your own imagination and creativity. People make money providing services or goods to people. That's it. It's up to you to figure out which good or service to provide! This requires soul searching to discover your passion in life. Do something that you love or that interests you. Art! Make something! Provide a service for people, or share your talents!

This was a good read, and very inspirational. The only problem for me is that I have a liking for doing a handful of things. I have multiple ideas and things that id like to execute. All important, some making more money than others. 3 ideas to be exact. Hmm..Perhaps I need more time to think on them.
Lesson 1: Addressing the Problem
Alright, so I have so much information, ideas, and innovative solutions to help anyone trying to break free from the monotonous routine that the system crams us into. Before I do that, I want to touch lightly on WHY. Some people, especially those that have moved from lower to middle class, still believe the system is working for them. They landed a good job, 9-5, make a decent income, and can afford their bills, so they say, "that's good enough for me." I want to explain why everyone should be evolving past believing that is the best they can do in this life. Let me explain something. Nobody ever got rich by working for someone else. People who are self-made millionaires did not just follow the mainstream. They made their own path to success. If they had stayed at their first job their entire life until retirement, like so many people try to tell the youth to, they would never stand where they are today. That is lesson one. Think outside the box. Become your own boss. Live your life without apologizing for it. First, find your passion or follow your best idea, and see where it takes you. Formulate a plan to earn an income in an area that suits you. If that plan is to be a middle class rocket scientist, and that's your dream job and life, do it. Those are your decisions to make. All I am telling you and encouraging you to do is to dream big for yourself. Picture your best life and position your path in its direction. One day, you will find yourself there. Next, here's a few "systematic" things that I think everyone should break free from: conformative thinking (think for yourself), poisoning our body with pesticides and bioengineered food and lab created medicines (holistic health all the way), structuring our society to produce a catastrophic amount of waste and pollution, and then looking the other way (landfills, air pollution, ocean waste, freshwater contamination, etc, etc..), allowing people to buy our time from us (i.e work the same full time job until retirement and travel in your old age 🚫), and the list goes on and on.

I love this! I actually wrote some of it down in the journal that I keep notes and important things in. I met a gentleman today whose wife was a pharmacist. He said she wasn't happy with it, because she saw how all of the medication either GOT people sick, or KEPT them sick. She quit and they started their own holistic medicine practice together. This is good stuff!!
Welcome all!
Welcome to the community. I would love for people who come across this page to introduce themselves to each other as the long term goal here is allowing people to connect to other like-minded individuals and build communities and friendships outside of the current paradigm. Feel free to introduce yourself with a photo of yourself, your favorite or most desired travel destination, or one thing you wish you could change about the world today.
