You don't need an audience to become an authority. You need a book. A published book on Amazon does something no social media post can do, it signals credibility on its own. People find your book through search, not through your follower count. That means someone with zero social media presence can still be "the person who wrote the book on YOUR NICHE" — literally. I was always the one drawing ✍️, from early childhood to this day, at home , in class, getting in trouble for drawing in my notebooks and on my desk 😅! I drew for my home, my friends and family’s gifts, at work, decorated spaces, created crafts… But never allowed myself to believe I was a “real artist “ 👩‍🎨 and I could make money off it. Then last year, I thought “what do I have to lose?!” Apart from money, time and efforts 😆?! So I taught myself digital illustration (thank you YouTube!) and self publishing (thank you KDP but I wish I knew Skool and this group!) and now I have 4 books on Amazon, I sold 113! Two of them are about my other passion: sharing my language and culture 🇫🇷😀! I am so excited to be here and learn more!!
