@Stipe Romac yes I agree with that, we human beings we are meant to adapt, you can learn how to balance the two through simple practices on how to handle people and make them feel important at the same time.

@Stipe Romac I will not say that I have particular routine or practice right now, but I really grasp and enjoy what I read in most the amazing books like this book by Dale Carnegie - "How to win friends and Influence People". So most of the times what I learn, I usually put it to practice.
First time main speaker
Hello lovely community, I was told to share about my previous event as a main speaker, and your feedback will be much appreciated. @Stipe Romac I don't think I will need to write anything ๐Ÿ˜‚, hope this video is enough.

@Stipe Romac right now , apart from the shakiness that shows up in my voice. I think how to control the fear, telling my brain that this is okay! No one is going to hurt me ๐Ÿ˜€.

@Stipe Romac this is an amazing piece of advice, ๐Ÿ™. To be honest I didn't have an action plan but I would find myself saying (give me a minute, let me check my notes ๐Ÿ˜„) . That would give me a moment to breath and check if am on the right track.

Big SHOUT OUT to @Wolfram Grohnert and @Marcel Lahaije thank you for the valuable tips and pointers on what to do if I blank out during my Keynote. Of course it happened. I just kept calm and I just followed your tips. The old me would be panicking and trying to find the words. The most interesting aspect is that the audience appreciated thoose questions. They felt they were a part of the Keynote. I appreciate you guys and of course everybody in this community. I am glad to be a part of it.

@Jane Jonasson your welcome, I always have this phrase "just do it anyway"

@Jane Jonasson sometimes when you feel like something is holding you back, it's always your brain telling you that it's dangerous (the brain is always in defense mode, it doesn't know anything about success) . If there's anything holding you back "you just do it" so that you brain understands that it's not dangerous at all(it's okay). And there you will override the adrenaline and start remembering (your slides or words)

@Stipe Romac alright definitely!
Audience as an Animal
If your audience were an animal, what would they be? A calm cat, roaring lionโ€ฆ? I like to see mine as a bunch of dolphins ๐Ÿฌ. Playful, smart, social. Can swim in ''serous waters'' or do tricks for fun.
