Welcome!
Introduce yourself and share your best tip for homeschooling through high school! My name is Dawn, and I'm a homeschool mom of four. I have a son in college, a daughter in high school and two girls in middle school. I've been homeschooling since my oldest was in 4th grade, and LOVE IT!! I am part of two homeschool co-ops that I am so, so grateful for. And teaching high school classes is my happy place! My best tip is to make a goal transcript right away. That way you have a plan you're working with (even though it will need to be changed a thousand times 😁).

Hi. I'm Kimbley. I live in Georgia and my husband and I have 9 children. I started homeschooling in 1999 when my oldest was 3 years old. I've graduated 5 children from our homeschool and they all went on to college. I currently am homeschooling 3 daughters, a senior in highschool, a freshman in highschool and a 7th grader. And my son, who is autistic, is in 5th grade. I am very excited to be a part of this group. My best tip for Highschool is let your children try different electives or activities and find something they really enjoy. Also try to do volunteer work as much as possible. Colleges want well rounded applicants who can speak passionately about something they are involved in.
Meet-Up Tomorrow
I just scheduled a meet-up for tomorrow at 10:30AM EDT for anyone who is able to join. I would love to meet all of you before we get started with class on Monday. But if you can't attend, please know that it's not required for the class. It's just for fun!
