Black History
This is my grandmother, Louise Forrest Johnson. Yesterday would have been her 107th birthday. She was funny, straight to the point, and graceful. She was Black History in Atlantic City as the owner of one of only two Black dance schools. I miss her all the time, but when I dance, I feel her near. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Momma J! Who in your family is Black History?

I made this same post of Facebook and several of her former students have commented or shared the post. ❤️❤️
☕️ Today's CommuniTea Reflection✨️
This morning, I pulled a card from Sandra Ann Taylor’s Quantum Oracle Deck: 8 of Events — A Creative Endeavor 🌿 This card is a reminder to set aside doubt and allow your creative nature to shine through. It speaks to trusting what’s been quietly stirring inside you. Starting The CommuniTea has been on my spirit for four or five years, but for a long time, I didn’t feel confident enough to begin. When would I find the time? What if no one joined? There were so many “what if” questions that kept me imagining the vision… without sharing it. One of my favorite parts of this deck is the affirmations. Today’s feels especially fitting: ✨ “It is safe and comfortable for me to speak my truth. My soul’s expression is longing to be heard.” So I’ll gently ask you: 💭 What is your soul longing to express right now? And if it feels easier to start here— ☕ What’s one small creative or honest step you’d like to take this week? No pressure to be profound. One word, a sentence, or even a feeling is enough. We’re listening. 🤍

@Mia L.T. Sharfner I'd love to hear more about what you do and wish you all the best in 2026!

I've been in my head a lot lately. Has anyone else found that to be true? I decided to chat with my African Goddess Oracle cards by Abiola Abrams. I drew Iset and was led to confront my tendencies that lean toward perfectionism, which is just self-sabotagein disguise 🥸. Do you struggle with perfectionism? How do you manage to move forward?

@Mia L.T. Sharfner I'll have to check that out. I haven't heard of that one.
Midday Funny
I was late to work this morning. Why, you may ask? My chickens decided that it was high time that they get to live inside like everyone else (2dogs, 1 cat, and 1 potbelly pig). If your day isn't going as planned, be grateful that it didnt start with a lively game of "Get Outta My House!" followed by some vigerous cleaning.

Farm life throws me the unexpected often. Lol
Any Crystal Lovers out there?
How come we grow up and don’t show off our cool rocks anymore? This gorgeous piece is Pyrite, also known as Fool’s Gold. ✨ It’s often associated with courage, self-confidence, and abundance. For me, this is what everyday alchemy looks like— taking something simple and using it as a reminder of how I want to feel and move through my day. This pyrite sits where I can see it when I’m working, grounding me in confidence and possibility. Do you have any crystals (or objects) you use intentionally? 👀 Can I see?

@Atima Lui nice! whenever I get those, I save the crystals. I'm also a lover of candles. I was a PartyLite (kinda like tupperware or Mary Kay, but for candles and accessories) rep for like 10 years. Lol

@Atima Lui I would have made some money, but I just kept decorating my house. LOL. It was fun though. I made a lot of good friends.
