Trying to get through every day Thinking there's a better way To soothe this aching in her heart If only her soul weren't torn apart To fill a hole left by your death The painful memory of your last drawn breath A mother's pain, her tears are real She prays to God that she won't feel She loves like only a mother can All she wants is to understand She knows from experience that day won't come The emptiness is there till she goes Home.

Autumn days, windy nights Large full moons and spooky sights Pumpkins glowing, black cats play Cloudy skies to end the day Witch's cauldrons full of brew Samhain signals things anew The end of summer, darkness falls Cobwebs seem to climb the walls Scary movies, creepy ghosts Goblins looking for their hosts Children running, shrieking laughter What will become of the morning after?
