I messed up
Oops, I missed the class this morning and need to watch the replay. I have ADHD; I didn't realize it was Thursday.🤣
My first domino - week 2
YOUR DOMINO Your domino is sleep, and specifically the front door of it: in bed by midnight, which is the exact thing you picked. Two facts make the argument for you. From your nights: the pull is not the show, it is that you can't leave something you're interested in. You said it plainly, "It's pulling myself away from something that interests me, when I'm in my comfort zone." That's a transition problem, not a discipline problem, and transitions are also what you named as the hardest part of mornings. Same wall, two ends of the day. From your days: first food at one means Big Rock #2, out the door by 10:00 a.m., has nowhere to stand. You already ran the proof. Last Sunday, up at 7, flyers out, then the postcard group, then home to recharge. You said what made it work: "Pressure to get my flyers out!" Big Rock #1 pulled the morning into existence. The nap afterward was you finally allowing your own recovery instead of charging yourself for it. When midnight starts holding, the first thing to move is not energy. It's that first meal sliding earlier, and with it the end of calling one in the afternoon a failure. That takes weeks of dull repetition, not a good week.
Help with check-ins.
I discovered today that only 1 of my check-ins has been recorded. I sort of recreated the last 2 days (26th and 27th) with help from Jim's twin, but none of the others I've done were recorded. I haven't been perfect about doing them every day, but I have done way more than one. I'm using an Android Google Pixel 8 phone. I don't know if it's a device issue or a me issue. I assumed all my responses I was selecting were being saved. Did I need to do something else to save them? I didn't usually make a statement. Did I need to do that in order to make it save? I also don't know if this is how I should be asking? I didn't find anything like a report an issue, troubleshooting or technical support option either in AI Harmony or Skool.

@Shawn Bailey I can only access check-ins through ADHD Harmony. If there's a way to do it through Skool, I don't see it, and I've looked.

@Deb Brouwer I think I may have discovered the problem. I would click the buttons for things like staying hydrated, sleep, meditation, etc, check off the moods, but then not make a comment at the time. I thought it was saving all of my reactions, but I think it might only record them if you go all the way to the end and hit "complete." User error.
Let a win look like a win
And here's the one you already said out loud, so I'm just going to hold it up: "at this point that's feeling like an excuse that I'm tired of." Three years of caregiving and losing your mother is not softness. The burnout was real and it earned you time. But you're the one who ruled the excuse expired. Not me. So it's expired. One more thing, and this is the one that will actually decide whether these six weeks work. Your dad recognized a win and immediately named a bigger one. You learned that finishing is just a doorway to more work. So here's what's going to happen in about ten days: you'll distribute forty flyers, and your brain will say "that's nothing, it's just flyers, look at everything else." That's not your voice. That's his. And it's the reason you stop in the middle of things — because your brain has correctly learned that finishing pays out nothing. That ends now. Finishing gets marked. That's in the protocol below, and it's not optional.
The final goodbye
📅 Daily Check-in - September 10, 2026 💭 Reflection: "Yesterday we said our farewells to Dad. We had our humorous moments like when the hearse arrived, we couldn't get him out as the door refused to unlock. Eventually we got him inside although it was hilarious watching a group of men figure out to get him through the door as well as themselves. Once sited in the spot we chose inside, the lid was taken off and we could all mill around, talk, eat, laugh and cry. We all wrote our messages on the inside of the lid, packed him up with a few treats for his journey, along with the daily newspaper and a pencil. After the lid was secured, the undertaker quickly asked if we put any alcohol in with him - we all laughed and said no but won't deny talking about it! Mum travelled in the hearse, while we all followed to the crematorium. It was beautiful to see him at peace - the rectal cancer was excruciatingly painful and nothing he nor any of us could do to ease that. Throughout the day I noticed the feeling of being unwell. I put it down to the stress being released. It appears that my youngest son and I have come down with a virus. So today was a day of taking it easy and being kind to myself. I managed to get a little work done = it's a start back into normality." 📊 Wellbeing Scores: ⚡ Energy: 4/10 🎯 Focus: 4/10 🌙 Sleep Quality: 4/10 🔥 Motivation: 4/10 ⭐ Average: 4/10 ✅ Activities from yesterday: ☀️ Morning Sunlight 💧 Stayed Hydrated 🥗 Healthy Eating 🍺 No Alcohol ☕ No Late Caffeine 🥩 Hit Protein Goal 🥦 Ate Vegetables 🍳 Home Cooked Meal 📅 No Meetings 👥 Quality Time

My condolences to you and your family. I'm happy for your dad to be at peace. You aren't just dealing with grief over the loss of a loved one, you can now take a breath and see the incredible toll it has taken on you and your family to go through this ordeal with him. It takes an tremendous amount of energy to go through something like that with a loved one. I went through 3 years of being caregiver to my mom, which was during the opening up phase pandemic, and I didn't have so much as a sniffle the whole time, but a week after she died, I caught my first and only case of COVID! I felt like my body was telling me I was going to lie down and sleep for several days, and there was nothing I could do about it. It's so common to get sick right after. Our bodies demand a break.
