September Songs
Hey everyone! 😊 I’ve added video links to both the French and English versions of my September song to help you learn the tunes. 🎶 🍂 You can find them in the Classroom Corners. I usually have the students point to their head, nose, toes, and legs as they come up in the songs to make them more interactive and fun! I hope the videos help and that your students enjoy singing along!

@Estella Diaz Each sound has an action to help children remember it. Children look at the sound wall, repeat the sound three times, and do the matching action. For example: - a, a, a pour avion (arms out like a plane) - b, b, b pour bâton (pretends to swing a baseball bat) - I have attached the action description sheet and the letter-sound file. I will also try my best to post a video this weekend to show you how we use the actions. I hope that helps!

Terry Fox🏃♂️👟
I just added a new Terry Fox Activity Pack for young learners. It includes French and English versions with three simple options: colour and draw what you are running for, colour and write “I run for…” / “Je cours pour…”, and a fun colour-by-number page. A simple way to add a little literacy, art, and reflection to Terry Fox week! 😊

🍁Fall tree painting
A simple fall literacy + art activity for young learners! 🍁 Children colour the tree, add their name and a word or sentence, then use fingerprints or bundled Q-tips to stamp colourful fall leaves. I love reading Fletcher and the Falling Leaves before starting this activity—it makes a lovely fall read-aloud connection.
