Hope its okay to post this here Does anyone have a kindle laying around that they don't use anymore? I want to be able to switch from book to audiobook and it seems that kindle is the only one I can do this with. As I start to sew my academic hat together, I am finding that I need something smaller to carry around to read on. I can't and wont buy a new one. I don't care the age as long as it won't go obsolete in the next year or 2 If so please dm me. I can only pay for shipping unfortunately unless you will allow smaller payments.

As a white person who does anti racist work specifically in the oppressed communities that I belong to, Disability/access, queer, autistic etc, I wanted to start making a list of people on linkedin that I could tag somewhere in the post. I can't tell if this is whiteness I need to unpack, but it also feels like commodification of suffering. Not that reparation is but more like "here's a list of people that need help AND all your guilt can be solved by doing this" "If you have benefited from this post, please consider providing reparations to Robin Divine who does amazing work, @Erin Corine Johnson for learning about reparations, or find a mutual aid group near you"

@Erin Corine Johnson has been so gently encouraging as I've deep-dived into absolute survival mode since February, working 2.5 jobs while refusing to give up on creating a more humane future than my present conditions. 🥰 Today, I opened my new store, RealBelonging.shop. A separate post in Identity & Belonging Lab is coming, with lessons learned along the way about DEI delivery and audience outreach, as Erin and I have discussed some in DMs. It's been a couple months straight of 17 hour workdays, learning new graphic design tools to upskill my drawing, learning to create and run an online business with no startup money, and 💯 walking by faith and not by sight. In celebration of this event, I just want to remind each of you today, as much as myself, that whatever is happening in your world right now: You deserve joy. You deserve cuteness. You deserve respect and nurturance. And if it's nowhere to be found right now, you have the power to create it. We will all have good things by creating them, and investing our energy in them, rather than in their opposites. I am grateful to be among this community of folks who bring so much goodness to believe in and to feel encouraged by, and who have sparked my creative resistance strategy engines (thank you, @Paul Johnson ) ... even when I disappear underwater and hold my breath for a few months to survive the waves. Coming up for air on the other side of acute struggle is always worth the swim.

I know many here used LinkedIn. I am writing to see if anyone has experience with this. My LinkedIn account was suddenly restricted and I have no access to it. I submitted my ID for verification but no communication back. I can’t send any messages to LinkedIn support via the contact form. My account is essential for networking and entrepreneurship. It is sad to suddenly lose years of connections. Checking if someone in this community had this happen and got their account recovered? Thank you so much.
