Nervous System Support through Traditional Chinese Medicine lens
Hi! I was in the live in the other group today and Dr. Kim talked about nervous system support through the lens of Traditional Chinese/Oriental Medicine. Can you expand on that? I have already bought one of those electric acupuncture pens to stimulate the acupressure points. I also have an acupressure mat which has been helpful. I've done some ear massage too although that could be a bit taxing. My HRV responds to alternate nostril breathing but I often have stuffy nose. I have hypermobility, post concussion syndrome -> FM + ME. My intuition is telling me to share that I hold a lot of tension in my abdominal area also. I do have a trigger point doctor who is ME + central sensitivity syndrome aware. Also, I had success with reducing pain one time with using the electric acupuncture pen, my doctor friend says it might help support endorphins. Is stimulating some spots good for endorphin production? If so do you recommend which ones? (If this is out of the scope for this group, please ignore) So Dr. Kim, can you please share some TCM nervous system support activities? Thanks!
