Hey! I’ve heard small business’ can get great results on Nextdoor but I have never used it in any capacity. Does anybody have tips or youtube video links on how to use it to grow this business? Im still getting almost all clients just from word of mouth/ me going up to people so i’d like to learn how to get some clients online. Thanks in advance!

Inside headlights
Hey, has anyone come across a headlight that they are restoring and after the prosses you realise the sun damage etc is on the inside of the light and can't be restored? If so how do you go about this with the customer, if you have already done the "job" but it obviously did not have desired effect. Thanks

I thankfully learned this lesson with a friend’s vehicle so i just didn’t charge him since it was a cool car that I used for social media content…. It was a MAJOR difference but in real life you could tell there was a little oxidation on the inside of the lens. So ever since then, if i think they might have it on the inside i tell the client “they’re going to come out significantly better, i’m sure you will love it, i’m just a perfectionist so it bothers me when they don’t come out 100% perfect… it looks like there might be some oxidation inside that i can’t get to so just wanted to give you that heads up” and the type of car that has that problem is usually pretty beat up anyway so they won’t be looking for 100% perfect, they will appreciate the honesty and then be very impressed with the transformation anyway

I wish I knew this when I started doing this over 10 years ago!!!
This is only for y’all in here in the school group I wish I knew this when I started restoring Headlights over a decade ago. But we can never go backwards. And now you have the benefit of learning this at the very beginning of your Headlight Restoration journey. FYI, this is one you’re going to want to take notes on

I’ve only done it with headlight magic kit but I guess i should learn how to do it with the 2k clear coat!!
