Hood Gi - Code??
For those of us who didn't win today....any chance you guys are giving out coupon codes to snag one? Would be sweet on the giveaway days to have codes for those who want to take advantage. Just an idea haha.
Hood Gi Giveway 2/4
I remember seeing somewhere that there was a Hood Gi giveaway tomorrow I don't want to miss it because I really want one. How do I participate in that?

If You Own This Bag, We Salute You 🫡
When we first launched the Hood-Gi back in 2017, we wanted to do something special for the people who took a chance on us and bought a Hooded Gi from two random martial arts dorks on the internet. We asked ourselves: How epic would it be if the Hood-Gi came in packaging you actually wanted to keep? What if it showed up in a slick computer bag… for free? So that’s exactly what we did. We launched the Gen-1 Hood-Gi with a free computer bag included. And because we had absolutely no idea what we were doing at the time, we sold our very first batch at a pretty steep loss… But that didn’t stop us. Sure, the free bag might have been a little over the top, but the people who bought it loved it and that mattered more to us than the margin. From day one, we’ve believed in overdelivering. We want you to feel like you got more than what you paid for. A quiet “thank you” in the form of a bonus, a detail, or something unexpected inside the package. That’s why our Kobo are wrapped in Tenugui, why the Hood-Gi comes in a drawstring bag, and why there’s almost always an extra surprise tucked inside your order. As we head into the thick of 2026, we want to turn this up another notch. We’ve been dreaming up new ideas for functional packaging and genuinely useful freebies. Things you’ll actually use, not stuff that ends up in a drawer. So we want to hear from you: What creative ideas do you have for functional packaging or valuable free gifts we could include with our products?

Man, I want to buy a Hood Gi but now I want this bag too. do you have any leftovers? Can I pay a bit more to get one of these or something similar? So sweet!

@Erik Allan for sure! I am going to grab a Hood Gi, just trying to decide whether to go XL which would fit great now but be too big here in about 2 months (shedding on average around 8 lbs a month) or wait to get the Large in 2 months. So really torn, they are amazing quality so having a hard time deciding.
Bo
Any plans to bring any sort of Bo to Budo Brothers? Need something for both practice and then also do Taikokyu (from Budo Brothers). Would love to have something nicer than what is out there.

@Michael Szul has this is the way! Need to find a place that teaches kali so I can do the same 😆

Well at least I know I’m not the only one 😆
Weapons Bag Recommendations
I need recs on a good weapons/gym bag if anyone has any. Escrima sticks and mandarin duck knives will be the most carried weapons. Bokken too but I haven’t really seen any bags designed for that. Something durable and good quality.

@Kyle Mahadeo I can use this too. Need something to hold my sparring gear, boxing gloves, chux, kali, and kamas. Can’t find anything.
