A goose joins the goose cult
Howdy neighbours! Unlike most of you, I assume, I'm here mostly because I identify strongly as a silly goose myself, and want to find out if this community is deserving of the majestic beast's blessings or if it's all heresy here. So far, I have a good impression 😄 Anyway, following step 1 with trust in the universe: 🟣 Purple — with the calm and the grief in blue, and the passionate love and the divine rage in red, truly the supreme colour 🦥 Slaking — destructive power surpassing that of literal gods (i.e. legendaries), the sturdiness of a mountain and no f*cks given 😤 Navigating, producing, planning — I'm in the early stages and things are going slowly, there's a lot to get used to, and on top of it I'm still dealing with psychological obstacles preventing me from fully committing to my purpose here How'd I do, senpais?

Una pregunta linda, Patricia! Mainly it's the silly part of the silly goose. Silliness is playfulness and childish energy. Playfulness, in turn, is presence and connection, both with yourself and those you play with. Playfulness, playing, being our true natural selves and doing what our hearts call us to do—this is what we exist for. Everything we do (in a conscious world, at least), we do for this purpose. Then there's another aspect of the goose which I aspire to be more of: a fearless warrior and protector of the tribe. Geese take turns watching over their gaggle and looking out for threats while looking for food, so that each individual can eat in peace while trusting that they're watched over. And most importantly, the goose never hesitates to eliminate anything it perceives as a threat to their kin. All those memes and funny videos about geese attacking people are demonstrations of their fearlessness and love; they don't attack out of spite or for fun, they defend through loving anger when needed. As a friend described them, they have long fuses, but the explosion is massive. Hope that answers your question~ 🪿😊
Hi there from Sardinia, Italy! 🇮🇹😀
Favorite color green. I have no favorite Pokémon, however I love Snoopy, Garfield, and Mafalda. I’m an intercultural person, born and raised in Uruguay, AFS exchange student in Minnesota (where many are cold, but few are frozen 🤣🤣), then moved to Italy 36 years ago. I love my community because it’s bilingual just like me. I strongly believe in the power of relationships. My current challenge is getting people to engage more. This week I’m starting live online courses of Spanish and Italian, maybe this will help people engage more.

Nice to see Uruguayan representation! I studied a semester abroad there two years ago, wish I could've seen more than just Montevideo though 🧉

I learnt to appreciate it with time, yes. They taught us on the first day of the semester, "your first mate is your worst mate"; this was true, as far as I'm concerned 😅
