(👷Let's Build Together) From Local to Live: Shipping Your App with Vercel + Stripe
Two weeks ago we built a working content machine with Claude Code — an idea in, a week of captions out. It looked great running on localhost. But "it works on my computer" isn't the same as "it works for the world." This week, we close that gap. This is Part 2 of the build. We're taking what we built together and actually shipping it - pushing it from your local machine to a real, public URL that anyone can visit. If time allows, we'll also start wiring up Stripe, so this isn't just a tool you use - it's something you could eventually charge people to use. 📅 When: (Tomorrow) Tuesday 21st July, 6-7PM CET / 12-1pm EST Join HERE 👷 What We're Building Input: the app we built last session, sitting on localhost (i.e. your computer) Output: a live, publicly accessible web app — hosted, versioned, and ready for real users Stretch goal: first steps toward charging for it with Stripe Didn't join last time? No problem - come see what "shipping" actually looks like, and we'll be back for Part 3 if there's more ground to cover. Also replay lives here. See you tomorrow! P.S. Attaching some screenshots from the application we built last time as a reminder.

@Christian Amerson thank you!
I pulled a Justin
Ever since Friday when I caught up with the news that Fable 5 was still part of my subscription until tonight at 11:59pm, I pulled an @Justin Krakow. I put my head down (and yes, my neck hurts), didn't really sleep much because I was so psyched, and plowed through my punch list of what I wanted to build. I don't have the deep understanding that he does (nor @Jam Anderson @Tony Rockliff, @Kevin Farrugia, @Chris Lien @David Farr @Rhonda Williams @Barbara Nwosu @Donna Kay Parrish @Naila Sfeir @Richard Kuethe and the countless others that make me smarter on every live call), but I churned out a completely new, upgraded, elegant website (that I now need to figure out how to launch); a new business to meet a follow-up/in-between nudging need coaches have; and an assessment app (Insight Under Pressure built off of William Marston's DiSC theory. For those who don't know his work, he was an American psychologist, lawyer, inventor, and comic book writer best known for creating Wonder Woman and being an early feminist!). Next, I want to partner with @Donna Kay Parrish to bring her wisdom into online group presentations/teaching/coaching in my womens groups. Can't stop thinking!

@Natalie Shelpuk you got this 🙏
/COMPACT in Claude Code?
How often should I run /compact in Code? I used to fork in Cowork but I'm noticing I think & work better now in Code (thank you @Kevin Farrugia for that guidance!).

@Natalie Shelpuk tough to give an exact rule but I would say anytime you want to start something that's related to what you're doing, but not exactly the same thing. The key is that you want some context to be passed along into the new session. Also, the thing to remember is that slash compact by itself would select what to keep and what not to. You can also put a space after compact and then be more specific about what to retain. One thing that I'm sure you're aware of is that if you don't need any context to be retained, you can just use the slash clear.

Hey Team! I hope you had a great weekend. I played with Fable 5, ChatGPT work and had a couple pickleball lessons. Feeling refreshed for this amazing week that we have coming up! 🗓️ 👩‍🎤 Monday, July 13th: be sure to join us and @Marisol Rios for her Canva 2.0 session. Marisol is a super talented designer and works in Canva's AI. She attended the Canva 2.0 release a few months back and learned SO much. She wants to share her top design tips with us. Click here to add it to your calendar ☀️ Summer Skool will be on Wednesday this week! 🚨 Make sure you update your calendar. I'm going to talk through TOF marketing/ Top of funnel strategies and show you how AI can make it easy. I'll answer some of your top questions like, "How can you get strangers to my website?" "How can I grow my business without spending $$$ on ads?" "How can I make a lead magnet with AI and what is that anyway?" Add this interactive event to your calendar here 🧔🏻 Learning with Tony/Tony Time (was this @Stacee Cassidy that renamed this session? It's good!) is happening this Wednesday Night. Last time, Tony had Manus and ChatGPT do a shootout on building apps. Who knows what excitement he will bring this time!? @Tony Rockliff has a great way to plan these sessions. He waits until a night or two before and a great idea will just appear! It's like magic! (right @David Farr?) So... Tony will let us know what it will be about. If you're new to Club Jam, make sure you join us. Wednesday night! Add it to your calendar here. 🧡Jam ps- want to be an example in Summer Skool with Jam for top of funnel marketing ideas? (Let's Build Together) Turn One Idea Into a Week of Social Posts
A lot of you are already stretched between running the business and doing the marketing. Writing a caption from scratch, every day, for every platform, is basically a second job. It's usually the first thing that gets skipped when the week gets busy. So that's what we're building. Live. Together. A simple content machine. Drop in one idea, get back a week of ready-to-post captions, written in your voice. By the end you'll have: - Your own working content machine, built by you - A week of real posts for your business, generated live - A real understanding of what Claude Code is, and why it's different from just chatting with Claude 📅 When: (Tomorrow) Tuesday 7th July, 6-7PM CET / 12pm EST Join HERE 👷 What We're Building Input: one idea (a client win, a question someone asked you this week, a random thought) Output: a week's worth of on-brand, ready-to-post captions, sounding like you This can also be something you keep building on and eventually sell to customers over time. Happy to dive deeper into this on the call. See you on the tomorrow!
