Well, I am afraid of confusing him. My fence collar will tone first and then stimulate if needed. If I want to use an ecollar in the field while hunting not sure….., maybe I’m just over thinking it. ??

Good Snowy/Icey Sunday morning, I’m Kenny from Thaxton Virginia. I’m 56 yrs old and have been hunting all my life. But,2025 was my first year of upland and first time training a bird dog. I’ve trained rabbit beagles and coon hounds but never a bird dog. With a hound, throw them in the woods every day and if it’s in them it will come out. I purchased a Brittany from Remchester Brittany’s and have been attempting to pull information from utube ( Standing Stone Kennels) but my lack of consistency has found me with a 7month old Brittany that I desperately need help with. I know I have failed at the obedience training and need to start over. After listening to your podcast and reading reviews I am fixing to pull the trigger on your online training course. My recall stinks and the last time I took him in the field it took me 20 minutes to catch him. I’m not a cussing man but……….. I just wanted to reach out and maybe have you give me a push to go ahead and purchase the coarse.
