Day 5: Free Leads is finally here.
Today I'm sharing something I built called TradePitch — a website you can use to help create your pitch. https://tradepitch.com.au/ Quick viewer's discretion: I go on a bit of a rant in this one. I get asked constantly "how do I get more leads, what actually works for you" — and honestly, for me it comes down to repetition and just executing on the basics, over and over, without overthinking it. Watch the video, apply what's in there, and I genuinely believe it'll work for you too.

This is how I roll the doors🚪
Spread the paint in four sections — the goal is never too much paint. Spread it evenly across the door, then one lay-off from top to bottom for that flawless even finish. That Bosch LED though 💡 Low light? No problem. Monarch doors & cupboards roller + Dulux Aquanamel on the Dulux tray. Simple setup, clean result. #painter #painting #paintingtips #doorpainting #dulux #aquanamel #monarch #tradie #illawarra #southcoastnsw #housepainting #diypainting

Monarch Precision & control is by far my no.1 choice
Even though it is designed for precision work like mouldings, skirting boards, trims, baseboards, and cutting in, I personally use it across a wide range of painting jobs — exterior protective coatings, interior repaints, glossing, timberwork, undercoating, and even oil-based primers. I like this brush because it gives you great control, smooth paint release, and a clean professional finish. It works well with both water-based and oil-based paints, which makes it a very reliable all-round brush to keep in your kit. Sanding
Hi there Painting the walls in the toilet do I need to sand before applying the second coat Thanks

Hi Helen, You can sand the wall if you have little lumps, drops or stuff like that to make it smooth and nice but is not 100% required, however, I have seen some glossy walls in bathrooms and toilets and this would require sanding and oil based primer for the actual paint to stick! If it is just the normal wall and it has been painted before than you should be good to go! Here is the paint that I would use! https://www.bunnings.com.au/dulux-4l-interior-paint-wash-wear-plus-kitchen-bathroom-low-sheen-vivid-white-4l_p1370128?store=7377&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21119565770&gclid=CjwKCAjwvNfSBhBiEiwAyaGMCW3j0uDYW6sTmcZWUaF-Ul6wxZt6cnnXh9HcDEL7szUkF3CMjWU5ehoCOKkQAvD_BwE Bonus tip, try tinting the paint into lexicon quarter or similar colors instead of base vivid white formula. Vivid white is the whitest one and has lower opacity which requires multiple coats to cover! Also, make sure you don't use wall paint on your ceilings!
